after having tried both sticky and remote for years, i can safely say you should always choose sticky over remote unless: 1. you're running weirdly specific sets that rely on remote like homerunner batterflights - if you are running one of those sets that play around remote, you're definitively gonna need it 2. your set doesn't have any of these: lunge sword, laser cannon, arm cannon, basic rocket, frost rocket, scope shot, starblaster, rockstar, crystal blaster - the only real reason you'd want remote over sticky is if you lack movement, and if you're running a set without any of the tools i've mentioned, remote will decently help you move around however you also have to take in mind you NEVER run remote over sticky if you: 1. are running a rocket that doesn't collect bricks + an expensive trowel - sticky is perfect for brick collection, and if you're running, per example, scope shot + bridge, scope shot + cage, hoss hog + truss, (or if you use a trowel such as turret) you should NEVER change your bomb from sticky to remote, specially if you use your trowels a lot hope this helps y'alls loadout building skills!

This has been awesome and encourages me to try out some different bombs in the game. What's funny is I use the stock bomb for everything and even in combat where it doesn't do as well as other bombs I manage consistent kills, so for newer players if you're able to master prediction of enemy movement and your own position, you can basically use any of the bombs for any purpose (though do follow this guide first as it is very helpful).

This is a good video for new players or just a guide in general. Fun Fact: Square bomb has a bigger hitbox than the stock bomb with only matters with mid rocket jumps but other than that. You make high-quality videos for this game, and hopefully this game gets a new update again soon👍

Nice guide, the stock bomb can be thrown with rocket jumping it and aiming the bomb with precision can kill players and players in crowds, same as sticky bomb aswell. The shadow bomb is also good for short batterflight and shadow dragon (rocket) is the same as shadow bomb when batterflighting. I recommend remote detonator for PC/Laptop players and sticky bomb for mobile players, xbox and Play station.

Cool guide! Can't wait for the ball video! I would like to add that you do what I like to call rocket-bomb jumps, where you stack your rocket jump and bomb jump together to get an even better jump (this works best and is more noticeable with the sticky bomb and remote detonator), and that you can rocket jump in midair using the default, square, and shadow bombs. I know this is a bit more obscure, but I am a bit surprised you didn't mention how you can stick the default, square, and sticky bombs onto a boomerang/bloomerang.

I decided not to mention that because it wouldn't really be useful for someone who's just starting out - my goal for these "which is right for you" videos is to get the most important information to the viewer and while the bloomerang tech is funny i don't think it's an absolute fundamental of the sticky bomb

I'm not you, so there's a limit so as to how much personalized advice I can give. If you keep running into certain situations like seeing an enemy on 40 health a distance away but not having any tools to take them down, it'd be a good idea to switch up some tools in your loadout (like the bow for the scenario i described just now) to make these unfortunate situations less likely to come about

The sticky bomb can roll ONLY if you do this. Destroy a wall and stick it on to that wall, then it will despawn and the sticky bomb will go on the floor and roll.

I don't know if it only works on mobile, but theres a glitch where u switch from shadow bomb and superball until the ability icon appears on the shadow bomb, and then you can plant it like normal. it is kinda op.

Also, the shadow bomb applies the stealth affect on the weapon that you are currently holding. For the remote detonator, when you die, the bomb disappears and you can no longer detonate it.
