But as per an Indigo cadet who is now a pilot with them, performance is a factor even with Indigo CPP. If one doesn't perform, they're thrown out of the program in the middle of the training. A captain of another airline said if he doesn't perform, even his job is at stake.

every job has a performance factor
@goldenepaulettesaviation54657 ай бұрын
Yes. Performance is paramount for an airline pilot. It's not just doing training but also when you are flying as a line pilot. Every 6th month, one has to go through an IR/PPC check on the simulator conducted by the designated examiner, so performance evaluation is a routine for pilots.
@cjx31567 ай бұрын
That is exactly what is needed in a cadet program. No room for slacking.

What do you mean by performance? Is it about flying I'm mean flying mistakes or during the programme where we don't do good

i know a well reputed flying school which offers cadet pilot program with IndiGo and it costs 95L - 1 Cr... and on average its a 20 month course and since many of them will obviously take a loan to pursue this and the bank gives u one year time period after completion of your training they only charge simple interest. So doing CPP gives u a job a security and less time to get ur job plus all your type rating fees and airline cost is included in one loan. now if u wait for 2-3 years for your job after doing conventional one u will have to start paying compound interest for your loan as a year already passed after your cpl completion. Air India and IndiGo are both great airlines to go for i would personally choose Indigo CPP because they have the option to do CPL in India and also many factors into consideration. So please think financially and something that you are confident about Happy Flying!

Yes. True. CAA & CAE both offer cadet programs for 6E, and the total cost of training is roughly 1 CR.
@crvamshikrishna9357 ай бұрын
I presume you are talking about FTA in the Indigo CPP and i agree with you,even though the cost is higher ,the job security and the whole package makes sense and the pros outweigh the cons provided you perform to their expectations!
@Chloro167 ай бұрын
@@crvamshikrishna935 yes absolutely performance is the key 💯

Important thing that duration of programme including flying, type rating and clearance of mandatory DGCA & RTR(A) eaxams. In Abroad , flying can be completed fast I.e. 7-9 months whereas in India to complete flying 200 hours you need at least 1 year.
@goldenepaulettesaviation86546 ай бұрын
1) Time to finalize school. 2) Time for visa processing 3) Time Gap between Course commecment & grant of visa. Flying may not be starting the course on request. 4) Time delay before the commencement of flying. Most of the time, you are sent to school and made to wait in the name of documentation. 5) Time to clear DGCA exam & RTR 6) Delay in conversion Flying because most of the time, Frying schools are overcrowded these days. 7) Any delay in conversion in DGCA due to shortfall. These points should give a cleared picture of how long does it takes to complete, not just flying hours because flying can be expedited.

When’s someone going to recover the 1.3CR investment? I would recommend to do cpl in conventional way , even if it’s take few years to get a job , the burden on you is much less. With these many aircrafts in order, there’s no better time to go for conventional pilot training.
@mach1shobhan7 ай бұрын
approximately how long does it take to get a job after cpl through conventional method?
@goldenepaulettesaviation54657 ай бұрын
Hi, their is no definite time as such, but by looking at the growth of Indian aviation, we expect if one is good enough and type rated, the chances are bright to get job without much hussle.

It all depends on aviation situation, rite now it's good, conventional way you'll be absorbed by ai and akasa, but indigo only if they are desperate for pilots,

How much money needed for a conventional course and not Cadet pilot program? Please guide
@goldenepaulettesaviation54656 ай бұрын
@sarojkumarsingh2699 Depends on the flying school & country where you are flying. The average overall cost for CPL training is about 45-65, which is lacks in countries like India, the US, and South africa. The total cost is little on the higher side in Europe, Australia , UK, etc
