My father worked at a hotel in 2001 in new york. Michael jackson had the whole top floor rented out to himself since he wanted privacy. Not even employee’s we’re allowed to go up unless instructed. My dad went up to his floor on accident one day and right when he realized his mistake, It was too late. MJ’s security saw him & were FURIOUS at him and yelled saying that absolutely no one is allowed up here without notice. My dad said was apologizing like crazy to them because he knew the severity of his mistake. This is when Michael heard the loud noise from the security yelling at my dad. He came out side from his room and looked at his security and my dad and said something along the lines of “Hey what’s with all this yelling?” My dad said he was terrified and thought michael was about to end his whole career at the hotel until MJ said , “come on leave the poor guy alone he’s just doin his job, it’s an accident we are all human.” and apologized to my dad for the excessive yelling. He stayed in that hotel for 1 week and Michael would personally want my dad to be the one to bring up any of his needs from then on if he was working that night. Such a gentleman

I remember when I met Vin Diesel at a Fast and Furious promo, and there was a huge line of people asking for "Toretto's autograph"(some people in the line didn't even know his name, just the character he played). As I get closer I see he looks super annoyed, barely saying a word to anyone. Then my turn comes up and I say "I came because I like your Riddick movies", and the smile on his face was so genuine and happy. He had one of the staff members get me a cuba libre. 10/10, would talk DnD with again.

Met Post Malone at a movie theater in Utah, he owns a house here and is often seen around the salt lake area doing things. It was 10 pm on a Sunday night, the theater was mostly dead. My friend and I were waiting for our uber to arrive. All of a sudden I saw post and a group of his friends at the soda machine. I mustered up the courage to ask for a picture, I said “I’m so sorry to bother you, big fan, do you mind taking a quick selfie?” And he said “no you’re good, of course!” And we took it, then he patted me on the back and said “have a good night” while looking me dead in my eye. Yeah so there was this event for Interstellar in India where they showed it in a very iconic cinema here, and he was sitting like 2 rows in front of me, so after the movie ended I rushed to him with a Bluray copy of the dark knight and asked if he could sign it for me, he was so polite and didn't hesitate, ofc didn't ask for a picture because there was a lot of crowd, but he is really genuine, no nonsense kind of a person.

Pretty much stared blankly at me when I told him how elated I was to meet him. Refused my handshake, and just called the next person in line. Called him an asshole. Got a couple “ooo”’s. Got in a lot of trouble at home for it. Worth it.

I was with my 5 year old niece and she told me that she loved Bill Nye the science guy(of course I did too and I’m glad she had that kind of childhood). When I was at Target with her, we both saw Bill. “Uncle Aawon! Let’s go say hi to him!” Of course I agreed to it, I had her on my shoulders. Walked up to him, greeted him. I told him, “My niece loves your old shows and I did too when I was around her age! Throwin my story out here- when I was 4, apparently Matthew McConaughey bought me a gumball. My mom couldn't find a quarter for me, and he came up and put a quarter in and let me turn the gumball thing :) His grandma lives in my town, so hes always visiting.
