Some people are confused if Stargirl is set before or after Crisis, it's neither. It's a completely new multiverse, which means that this new Earth-2 had a completely different history than the Earth-2 from the old multiverse. Edit: If anyone got confused by this, then it simply means that it's technically set after Crisis, but a more appropriate description would be that it's set in the "Post Crisis Multiverse".

@@brettokeefe4089 to cut it short I will say I agree. Now, if you would like to continue reading into some of my reasoning that really only makes sense in my head so it may not to you, you may. Look at E-1. The only differences is Team Supergirl and Team Black Lightning are now part of it. As well, Nash is for some reason the only Wells to ever exist on the Earth (which doesn't make sense being Star Labs is still there) and E-2 Laurel is the Laurel of that earth. However, people are really to quick to jump to say that it's a completely new Multiverse so everything is different when, for all we know, it may not be. For all we know, E-2 may still have a Laurel that was once Black Siren. For all we know, Jesse could still be there and have gotten her powers from E-1. Due to Crisis, everything is kind of a Paradox. So I don't think it's fair to say what Dhruv said about "this new Earth-2 had a completely different history than the Earth-2 from the old multiverse" being there is no proof that is true, yet. However, there is a high chance it is a different history, but how much has it actually effected present day.

Best comic show. Possibly the best comic book adaptation in tv and film. No unlikeable or deplorable characters. Only the ones that are supposed to be. That's all the narrative strength of the show. How about it's directorial strength. Cinematic and beautiful to look at. Minimal editing and direction creating a natural flow to the scenes. Shot with as few takes and cuts as possible. Single take scenes of dialogue and emotion. That's high level acting and filmmaking. So the show succeeds pretty much on all fronts. It's almost perfect. The characters are likeable people that are relatable and easy to invest in because of their likability. They don't display hardly any stomach turning or disgusting traits that would make you want to turn off the television.

Jesse Quick as Liberty Belle with superspeed and strength. But I think the JSA _needs_ more players like Pat, older wiser and training the younger heroes. I hope that some of the old JSA survived and willing to come back and to teach this group. Power Girl is an option for this, Mister Terrific is another that should be in here. I don't think we need people strictly from Earth-2 in the comics.

Unfortunately, there aren't any real options for a young JSA replacement Flash, but taking into account probable diversity trends, fan desire, and exempting characters used on Earth Prime, I thought of three choices: 1) I think the best choice could be Avery Ho. She's a fairly recent character with a decent following. She's Asian and from the trailers, there are no Asian recurring characters. I think she would be really fun to have and I think her pink Flash suit would look pretty cool, as long as they don't darken it and give it that leather texture several of the costumes have in the Arrowverse. 2) Wally West (pre-New 52), as long as they can get an actor who looks like redhead Wally and can be funny. But as it looks like KJ Apa is trapped in Riverdale, its unlikely we could maybe could a Wally who isn't wasted. 3) Danica Williams, but they should save her for the Beyond show that everyone wants.

Great choices, I think Jade would be great introduction for Season 2 (maybe along with Jessie &/or Khalid). Bring in the back story of her and Todd's mom being former villainess Thorn who gave them up for adoption. So while we have Jade join the team ad coming into her own. Todd is getting manipulated & corrupted by villain Ian Karkull through Todd's powers and mental illness(schizophrenia). To which we can bring in Shade for an episode or two to offer assistance/advice on the Shadowlands.

If they stick to the Infinity Inc. line they have used so far, I'd expect Jade, though I expect Jakeem to be her brother, not Obsidian. They could do Northwind as the Hawks' replacements. Power Girl, Fury, or both to connect a version of the Trinity to their earth. I doubt they can get the okay to do any version of the Huntress, though that would be great.

Jade would make the most sense to replace GL because of her powers, with Obsidian popping in to check on the team. Maybe have him be the overprotective brother who doesn't like that she is putting herself in the same danger their father was in. Their could even have a subplot where he slowly goes bad for a little bit, as I think for a while he was a villain in the comics. Tho, they could use a slightly altered version of Jessica Cruz because her original ring (Voltoom's) wasn't too different in origin to the Starheart (JSA GL's ring). They could just leave her original ring as a mysterious artifact for a villain of the week thing, before GL's ring chooses her.

Alan Scott's ring doesn't choose it's wearer like a GLCorps ring does. It doesn't even have the same weakness. Alan Scott was only made an "honorary" Corps member late in his superhero career and had no connection to the GLCorps for most of his time as a hero.

First, train up the character of Beth Chapel. She was supposed to be a doctor with some hand to hand training. Right now she is a liability. Give her the blackout bombs at least. Second, do an animated series of the original JSA. Give new viewers some basic background and personality. Third, Alan Scott and Jade have never been shown any love in either the Arrowverse or Small Ville. We've seen Obsidian. Instead of another teen angsty replacement, bring in Alan Scott, or a Jade that went into hiding after the JSA was destroyed.

I'm thinking either Johnny Thunder or Jade could appear right at the end of season 1. Perhaps as part of a season finale. Then the other that doesn't come first, will be about episode 3 or 4 of season 2. Difficult to say if Obsidian will be in this JSA. But Jessie Quick will likely debut near the middle to middle late part of season 2. I think also Supergirl may visit as a crossover sometime in the second season. In the comics, Supergirl and Stargirl are friends, and have shared adventures in more than a few comic issues. Of coarse they are similar ages too. But in CW universe, Supergirl is about 12 years older. Perhaps she can be a mentor figure, or help train Stargirl. New Hawkman and Hawkgirl could come much earlier than season 5, seeing how most of the new JSA are in fact teenagers, so teenage Hawkman & Hawkgirl would fit in as early as a season 3 premiere. Keeping in mind that a leading contender for Johnny Thunder is a 12 year old friend of Courtney's younger stepbrother Mike. I don't think new Dr. Fate, Sandman, or anyone else is likely, although not impossible either.

We saw, who appeared to be, Green Arrow and Speedy in a picture that Pat showed Courtney from when they were still The Star Spangled Kid and Stripesy. Possibly, Artemis could replace Green Arrow. However, though Crisis did recreate the multiverse so things aren't all the same, Adrian Chase is Green Arrow on Earth-2, as of pre-Crisis.

Deadman or Secret a could be better replacements for the Spectre, as they'd have to change Crispus Allen drastically to make him younger and dump his family life.- To the point where it would be a different character altogether. I'd like to see Power Girl but I don't think they'd do more that a cameo appearance while Supergirl is still running ( too confusing) . It would be cool if Starman's son , also "Starman", showed up.

Citizen Steel is already on the Legends, would they duplicate the character. Maybe some of the JSA heroes not seen could come in to help and be senior members of the Team. Specter and Dr Fate are really overpowered characters, they should have been able to defeat any enemy on their own, they have been nerfed really bad here, of course Specter restarted the universe.

But I like to think the ISA would have taken him out. Before attacking the JSA like they did. Or you are right the JSA would have never lost to the ISA.

It would be cool to see the hawks. Unlike in legends, it’d be cool to actually see their wings up close in good quality. The Stargirl show hasn’t failed us yet when it comes to cgi. And seeing as they literally built the robot, I wouldn’t be surprise if the characters have to wear a harness with large hawk wings on them when they aren’t using them, and then using small fake wings and cgi during scenes where they take flight.

But I must point out that you had made a mistake at labeling StarGirl’s dimensional realm, it was labeled wrong it is not EARTH-2, where she truly exists in is EARTH-27.

Hawkgirl could be replaced by Dawnstar from the Legion of Super Heroes. The Legion has made appearances on Earth I but might also exist in the future of Earth II. She could take up the mantle of Hawkgirl while undercover on a mission for the Legion. The Image Inducer that Braniac 5 uses on Supergirl could be used for Dawnstar to make herself look like a returning Hawkgirl.

if I remember correctly, Pat never said that Hawkman and Hawkgirl were killed in the fight 10 years ago so they can use it in their favor and say that they were killed 5 to 10 years before, so at present they would be between 15 and 20 years old

Héctor and Lyta must be introduced. Héctor can be his old Silver Scarab self with Nth armour, and Lyta as sucesor of WW or Miss América. Another fit for Hector could be being Dr Fate again, he was the BEST after just original Kent Nelson.

Alan Scott is not connected to the Green Lantern Corps. The Starheart is different. He should not be replaced by one of those guys. Also, Al Pratt has nothing to do with Ray Palmer and Ryan Choi. He doesn't shrink or grow. He was just a short boxer (who eventually received radiation immunity and superhuman strength and whatnot). If at all, he would be succeeded by Atom Smasher (Pratt's godson, the same connection that Yolanda had to Ted Grant in the comics) or Damage (his son). The Spectre of the DCTV Multiverse is currently Oliver Queen, succeeding the Jim Corrigan of another unidentified universe.

One issue that I have been thinking about is the "power level" of Stargirl. Dr. Fate, Flash, Green Lantern are all to powerful for the way that Stargirl is playing out. The powers of the new JSA seem low for superhero standards. Not sure how any of these choices could be toned down to fit the power level of the show as it stands now. Unless as season one plays on into season two everyone grows into their powers and the power level is increased across the board....just my thoughts.

I do think they have limitations for the budget which is why they will probably use Johnny thunder,green lantern,and sandman. I think adding hawk man and girl along with dr fate which would be to much.

I think having wally west be the successor would be more interesting as we have yet to get a true adaptation of him and star girl would be the perfect fit over titans which is way too dark and gritty considering his character

I don't think everyone will get a replacement. Alan Scott and Jay Garrick should not be replaced. They are the old guard in the Comics. They should either be back or not replaced at all. Jessy Quick could appear in her Liberty Belle II persona, since she eventually marries Rick. Fate could be a perfect candidate since it basically means puting on a helmet. That said, I think Jakeem will be the "magic" user in the new JSA, we saw too much of the pink pen already. Cheers
