Thing is, dps is more chill and more auto, but to find parties if you're not above average sometimes takes some time, depends a little on timezone, while as Aco / sword you find partys more quick. its just my opinion as i play both sin and aco. sometimes we just want to log in, do quick daily stuff and that's something to look at

I usually play as a healer or tank in most games, but this time I went with DPS since I thought it was just an idle game and the party setup wouldn’t matter much. Now I regret going DPS because the role is actually super important in the game. So I’m really hoping for a class change so I can switch to tank instead!

Personally I think if you’re a ftp dps. Pick scholar their utility with atk buffs and buff stripping is insane.

on point review, at the end of the day play the class that you find enjoyable and fun. i made all class in 1 account just to have a feel of each class, but i play all in all games as an archer so i played a ranger. i only spend a dollar and my ranger's damage is decent. but my scholar also can nuke damage. playing dps do take time to get a party than healer and tanks. im not into rankings so dps is fine. im just into having fun.

Yeah, it was casual auto(mostly) until worm boss in rifts. Manually targeting weak spot and burst it as much as you can. But overall it feels satisfying and fun and that's whole point of the game(besides sucking your money)

if you go for low CD heal skills, you can play it on auto aswell while healin. the auto wont "waste" heals when all are full health. except the HOT. works pretty well. the 1 minute CD heal you should not do on auto tho. but i never slotted this heal.

Well, my friend using tank, and myself using healer, (f2p) just looking for dolphin or whale dps and boom, easy time :D cause the most of mechanic mostly belong to two of us :)

Unfortunately for perilous trials, dps who listens and bring interrupt or dispel while doing semi-auto for shield phases are very rare.

Tank and Healer. (during story mode, have to choose some damage oriented skills to clear the stage faster) During rift need to choose healing and tanking skills. Otherwise at least one tank or healer and other plays dps.

Mage is good for aoe damage/sweep at certain stage which Archer and assassin lack off so I don't know what kind of things your server smoke

i have a question, i'm playing shadowlash now, Level 74, doing chapter 4 of class change quest. i have a skill selection box (for the 1st 300 pull), my current core skill still under Epic, should i choose core skill for the selection box or i should choose, other tactical skill or passive skill as i proceeding for 1st class change

Great video, however I'd disagree with one point: Ideally the tank takes the interrupt bc he's not dealing dmg anyway. As a mage I have to switch out a main spell which I use every 15 seconds or so for a spell which I use only 2-3 times in the whole battle. That's a substantial amount of dmg I'm sacrificing. That said, I'm taking interrupt most of the time bc no one else is. Edit: Could you myb make video covering all the rift boss mechanics and how to counter them? I think this would be helpful to a lot of ppl, especially those who aren't playing since day one.

The def buffs alone takes all of the slots to make the tank tankier: warcry (-18% dmg + taunt); stalwart shield (-55% dmg); and banner (+20% def). Missing one just for the interrupt skill makes it a little bit challenging. NOTE: i'm aware of warcry + berserker for interrupt but you are risking a battle where the boss can do change of target and you have no control on it... not good for your dps

@carlloiuse The question is: Does the tank/ team actually need this lvl of tankiness? The only rift I encountered yet, which made interrupt necessary, was Ymir if I recall correctly and based on my experience: If the main dmg spell is consistently interrupted, there is no need for the banner (edit: even with a very low lvl healer). I didn't try the 1st class change lvl 45 rift boss yet, so myb this or a following boss might require the dps to interrupt?
