Oh, one thing to add! Now is a good time to stock up on any of the tradable cash items and maple gear sets like Maple Saint, Pearl and treasure sets. Including some of the various maple weapons and shields. If you want some free gear at levels 30, 100 and 110+ now is a good time to spends those mayple leaves. And yes, the cash item coupons can be traded also to other characters also. So if you’re going to make a new burning character start stocking up on items based on what class you wish to train next. I am even doing a pure beginner character that just uses maple swords and shield. Reliving the nostalgic days of being pure beginner.

NL is a very hard/poor solo bosser until you get enough damage to kill in 2ish burst windows, or you got hands. lazy grinding and feeks nice tho

Highly recommend Battle Mage as someone who mains it. Good solo bossing, great party utility, and brain-dead mobbing after advancing to 5th job.

I Hypered a IL Mage in the last Hyper event... It is great against mobs but Solo Bossing requires a lot of bursting and SFing. I only recommend it for training, Ursus and MPE but if you are looking for a Boss mule, I would go with another class. =3

In my experience wind archer can make for some very easy bossing, for certain bosses at least, but last I played it it lacked very much in burst (clown is the cra boss that took me the most gear upgrades to solo due to the split, with queen's fire giving me some survivability issues), though I'm pretty sure it got better since then. Bosses that have a lot of vertical mobility can be annoying since your main bossing skill, song of heaven, has a very narrow horizontal hit box, like all hurricane type skills. The hurricane skill also means you have little use for attack speed, which makes mp green potion and decent speed infusion not a real concern. Mobility is great, mobbing not top tier, definitely not farming mule material.

sometime i think nexon deliberately give class like hero, dual blade, night lord sh*tty upjump just to prevent player from liking the class too much tbh :( i love dual blade but it's up jump get on my nerves everytime i login :V :V oh and wtf with Lala up jump :V ? why is a "reverse" up jump from the rest ?

I burned a Cannoneer last hyper burn event....yeah that class isn't worth a hyper in my opinion. Ice Lightning mage needs a lot of nodes and you should have probably mentioned that. Idk how many the event gives out but it really needs a ton lol.

They're a solid class but require a decent amount of investment to really start popping off. Attack speed inner, needs as much buff duration as possible, and ideally has a -4s cd hat. Also has low crit rate so you gotta work that in with links and legions plus event buffs. I burned one last year on Hyperion as my return to the game character and apart from not being very good at bossing, it took me till like 250+ to start feeling like I could kill bosses, but now its like 5 second czak and all of cra is fairly quick too. I should also add that depending on the map, mobbing is just standing in one spot and rotating hypers and 5th job skills while occasionally moving to place erda shower and collect loot.

as someone who mains a DW, claiming that the class has zero cons is actually crazy. To begin with the class is ping reliant so players who don't get good ping straight up cannot play the class. Another issue that DW has is that its burst is VERY long, at best in party play, half of your burst is going to be outside of a bind/ror/wj which is really bad since wj and ror only last 15s and 20s if you have ror5 or wj5. Which means that in party play your dps when bursting is going to be much worse than condensed burst classes. In addition, DW's burst is also backloaded, meaning that if you want to frontload your burst in a party, you are going to be sacrificing some damage. And even if you pre prep your goddess blessing to not be AS badly backloaded, you still miss out on the duration of sun if you are bursting in a party. IN ADDITION, DW has one of the worst origins in the game. It goes directly against how you would burst normally. And does peanuts for damage. It's unironically either as bad as NL's origin or worse than NL's origin before NL got their origin buffed in dreamer. There was several levels in which I stopped using my origin because it made my burst do less damage than my normal burst.

Are you using bats? If so which ones? There's bossing bats and mobbing bats. also the best way to mob as a NW early on is actually using quint throw and depending on bats. They also kinda need some funding to get their feet under them and consistently 1 shot. The hyper event would definitely give you said funding. Almost all of my NWs gear came from the last hyper event and I can clear Cvell with it easily

Also a point that should be made for hyperburning, in my opinion, is that you should focus more on bossing. Hyperburning implies you'll get it to 260, which most likely means 6th job, and starting next update, 6th job means sol janus. Every class will now become lazy farmers thanks to this skill, so now there's value in looking at how a class bosses over how it mobs.

I can highly recommend Wind Archer. I could solo CRA with mine immediately after unlocking 5th job at level 200 with 0 funding with previous burning. It's by far the earliest I've been able to solo Chaos Vellum with any burning character. Note that I don't know how they perform at higher levels as mine is basically at normal Lotus and Damien in terms of progress currently, but it feels quite strong.

Both are actually very good. The only problem Night Walker has is the same problem all thief classes have, which is good funding. They need enough funding so their bat skill can 1-2 shot any monsters around their level. For Buccaneer, in my opinion, they need to have long maps to train properly with their advanced dash skill, but are otherwise very good at mobbing and bossing. Either way, try out the two classes first and see which one you enjoy playing more while leveling up.

You get frozen gear, root abyss temp gear, and burning title. But if you’re 221, you don’t get the 200-220 rewards, so you’ll miss out on stuff like the absolab weapon

If you've been doing dailies on it then dont bother as you only lose the lvl 200 reward. If it's a 203 with barely any progress on it then I'd suggest just making a new char

Apparently, there’s going to be an event where you can level your character to 200 in 10-15 minutes. They did it during/after the last hyper burning event. I could be wrong so fact check me

KMS has completely different balancing. Also this video is geared towarda GMS/Reboot where solo bossing on bishop feels super lacking compared to most other classes

@@SephirothXpwns except bishop is MUCH stronger in GMS than it is in KMS because they benefit a lot from AS0. Solo bossing on bishop is very good, and the downplay on it from the community is actually insane. It's probably stronger than f/p in terms of solo bossing when class diff actually matters for solo bossing. Namely when you start soloing hard bosses.
