Jimbo wants the WVU job. Thing at WVU is whether or not they can afford Neal’s buyout. They also have a President retiring in June.

Brian Kelly can coach WVU. We'd be happy with him, or at least I would
@michaelcsonka26755 күн бұрын
WVU has two possible options. One is Jimbo Fisher, if he wants it and he's indicated he's open to it, they can afford him, and they can afford Browns buyout. The other is Rich Rodriguez. There's a love hate relationship history there but a donor has been on record as offering to pay Browns buyout if Rich Rod is hired. Rich has won and has some baggage that will probably limit his options so it makes a lot of sense. Right now WVU is facing a fan exodus from a historically loyal core. Donor/NIL money is not behind continuing with Brown. I thinks it's Jimbo if he wants it and donors will help pay the buyout. But there's a certain path to Rich Rod. Given the donor and attendance situation I can't see moving forward with Brown.

Not true at all. These talking bozos rarely do their homework on researching any non big name program. Brent Pry is obviously in the top 3 on the hot seat. Neal Brown may or may not get fired depending on whether or not WVU can raise enough money to fire him. Also Hugh Freeze was an obvious one that they missed.

PJ Fleck would do well at Maryland. But Locksley is doing pretty decent

Mike Locksley in this tenure since 2019 is 32-33 overall and 15-32 in conference. That is not good enough, for any school who is serious about football. Yes he has three 8 wins and 3 bowl wins, no big wins during that stretch, and besides Michigan, they haven’t been competitive against the big teams. They are undisciplined and continue to find ways to lose games rather than win them.

@ his conference record, just about .500 is least much better than Locksley. I’m not advocating for Neal brown, but at least he has beaten ranked conference opponents home and away. Locksley, Doesn’t have a ranked conference win at all

I know everyone feels betrayed by the man but if Jimbo isn't coming it makes sense. We can get him, we can afford him, and he's an upgrade over Brown, and his history makes it unlikely he's getting a better offer. Honestly the way circumstances line up it works for both parties.

I always said hell no until now and I would gladly have him back. Even if he leaves again that meant he had success here once again and wouldn't that be something different for a change.

If you are not a desperate Michigan fan, you are adorable. Accordingly, how desperate are you to mention winning 2023 compared to mentioning anything in future success? Like TCU has clearly been better peaking for natty hype than Michigan, and no one really expects Michigan to even come close again in the next decade. Aside from Moore being on the harbaugh staff, why is Moore hired rn?

Big Ten football simply cannot follow SEC football trends. Coaches that go 9-3/10-2 in their first 2 seasons are considered Gods among boys in the big 10. However, that’s cause for firing if recruiting isn’t right and season 3 starts poorly in the second. I mean this is common since 2004/5. There’s a reason the SEC motto is “It just means more”. Google Big10 vs sec ncaa football championships

(the most obvious and hilarious question is since there is clear acknowledgment that Penn State aspires for a peak of 11-3 (11-1 regular season with a conference championship and bowl game loss before getting loud and angry). I understand why Penn State likes James Franklin, but why is James Franklin so happy with Penn State and his perpetual Big Ten when the Big Ten isn’t even good

@@Foggydidwhat The comment he made is true though. Ryan Day is gone if Michigan wins. Crazier stuff has happened. Remember App State 😂. Michigan does. Yeah I went there. No but Ryan Day is gone if he loses to this Michigan team. They are so favored, if he loses again... I just don't know what would happen. 😂😂😂😂 OSU fans might explode.

it's clear Fickle made a mistake going to Wisconsin! If you are a good coach, it should show in year 3! Going to Wisconsin should be a complete cleaning of a lot of old ways and players! Really, they are the same players! He can't restructure, he need a school that has real talent! That's how urban and tressle did! Could they make Wisconsin good too????? Nope! GOBLUE!!
@nickflahive89036 күн бұрын
It's not even year 3 yet WTF are you talking about? Interesting that Moore is at a school with "real talent" and was born on third base and yet has the same record as Fickle right now despite him not being at a "real school." Usually Michigan fans are pricks but I don't usually come across ones this unintelligent.
