Because it is a sprayed on texture, I wonder if Selkirk can re spray, re apply the texture back on for a small fee

But what you lose is surface face longevity. I notice much more loss on the Luxx to date

Luxx wears out and loses spin ay a very fast rate. For $250, we should get more longevity.

Unless you can afford to replace the Luxx every month or two, just go with the Vangaurd paddle. The paint grit they apply on the Luxx wears out very fast and you notice the spin decreasing just after a few play sessions. They need to sell something that allows you to reapply that grit to extend the competitive life of the paddle.
