Which controller should you buy? gamesir g7 vs g7se.

You know I'm pissed I went through three elite series 2 controllers and I buy a 45 dollar controller that has out preformed in every way, hall effects ALONE!!!! Are worth it. G7 SE would be damn near perfect if it had 4 buttons and now the 1ms update is just the cherry on top.

@@ReigensHakai it's a new update on the gamesir app on xbox where you can put the hz to 1000 which makes the controller insanely instant when you press the buttons. And yes it is on the xbox now, the only thing is you can plug a headset into the controller if you use the hz feature. Hope this helps 🙏🏽

I've hade 2 elite series 2 controllers and one elite series one and the g7 se is best by far atleast we can use 200 pound controller on Co pilot 😂

I'd give my G7 SE a 10/10 expect for the thumb sticks. More grip would be pleasant, like the OEM Xbox controller.

@@darenking1508 I have both, I would probably recommend the SE. the standard G7 has more textured rubber grips so it’s a bit less slick, but it’s not really a problem on the SE. The sticks feel just fine on both, I use them for FPS and have no issues with either, but you’ll get more longevity with SE. There are locks on the back buttons on the SE, this isn’t really necessary, but it’s a feature. The main difference is the micro switches on the G7. They’re a bit louder, but feel great. I will say, though, that the SE domed buttons feel pretty good. I was expecting them to be sort of mushy and blah like on a lot of modern controllers, but I like them a lot. With all of that said, I would probably go with the SE. Sticks go bad. I’ve had three controllers go bad with stick drift and none were used all that much. Both are very good, except for 2D fighters. The D pad isn’t what I’d prefer for a fighting game.

Tactile buttons are clicky mechanical buttons. Membrane button are button that uses a rubber membrane

Should be out now from what I’ve heard! I’ve been buying the same old dualshock 4 every few months for pc and using it with the sony back button which works fine and the latency isn’t 1ms but it’s like 1.5ms but stick drift always gets to me after about 3 months on my right stick from fps games like cod. So last night I decided to order this for $40 just to test it out for strictly PC gaming and it’s coming today. Hopefully it’ll be worth it but honestly if not, oh well it’s pretty cheap. I’ve literally paid $275 for the Astro C40 when that thing came out and it was just way too big for my hands and fingers. Hopefully this controller lives up to the hype for its price point. Going to use it while I save up for the elite series 2 and snag one once they drop to like $150-160. Let me know if you guys think this will be ok for games like COD, and GTAV that’s basically all I’ve been playing lately as far as controller gameplay.

Yes, mine is coming today for strictly PC gaming. Was going to buy another DS4 but im tired of paying $60 for a dualshock 4 every few months so I paid $40 for this just to test out, honestly, from what I’ve read, video reviews Ive watched, I think ill like it. And I guess inly playstation kontrol freeks fit on the sticks and I literally have bags and bags of ps Kintrol Freeks. My only worry is where my fingers will fall on the back buttons, im used to PlayStation controllers with paddles that are more towards the side although I had the $300 astro controller when it dropped and it had buttons but they were way too bulky and didn’t have a lock so I couldn’t push one on accident. And stick drift is one of mane issues with controllers so we’ll see how these work. But I think these are Xbox one,series x/s and pc compatible to answer your question.
