Your videos are really interesting and I am enjoying they are not biased. I have a suggestion for the followings: Some of the dual power 12v/120v tire inflators (optional battery) + preset PSI auto-shutoff : 1. CRAFTSMAN V20 Inflator (CMCE520B) 2. Avid Power Tire Inflator Air Compressor, 12V DC / 110V AC Dual Power Tire Pump (ACAP322) 3. JACO SmartPro 2.0 AC/DC Digital Tire Inflator 4. BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Tire Inflator, Cordless & Corded Power (BDINF20C) 5. Slime Dual Power Tire Inflator (120V/12V) 6. TACKLIFE A6 PLUS Tire Inflator 7. DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Tire Inflator (DCC020IB) connected to ac through the N557514 power supply plus any other pump you think is good to try. Interested in: 1. Time to pump a tire 0 to 35 psi. 2. Time to pump a tire 0 to 80 psi. 3. Accuracy of the gauge when the pump is not pumping. (The difference between the gauge and a calibrated gage) 4. Consistency of the gauge (showing almost the same result when tried a few times even if it is off by some PSI) (metric: Standard deviation) 5. Accuracy of the auto-shutoff at correct PSI. 6. Running time before turns off because of getting hot. 7. Build quality if possible. Thanks!

@@ProjectFarm My car battery went dead and didn't use it for a long time, so now tires need air. So I bought this model {$27.19} due to the reviews { AstroAI Air Compressor Tire Inflator Portable Air Pump for Car Tires 12V DC Auto Tire Pump with Digital Pressure Gauge, 100PSI} to inflate my tires , it's being delivered tomorrow. Thing is it only runs on car cigarette lighter and I didn't realize this when I bought it ,so it's no use to me, because my car battery is dead, UGH. PS: Can you just do reviews on models for cigarette models only, those that need to be charged ,and those that only work on foot pedal. Each type needs its own category . Thanks.

I have the Milwaukee M12 and it's hands-down one of the best purchases I've made. I have two compressors, one is a 3HP that's stored in the back shed and rarely sees use, and I have a cheapo $50 pancake compressor that I've been using to inflate tires. That unit is aggravating as it takes forever to fill and only has a small capacity. On top of that, it's just a "dumb" compressor and you frequently need to check the tire pressure. That Milwaukee is the best thing since sliced cheese for passenger and lite truck tires. No extension cords, and it fill tires fast and easy. I now keep my tires inflated properly because it's trivial to pull this little unit off the wall and air them up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I bought the Milwaukee M12 and it is fast compared to the one I have that has to be plugged in to charge. Also it is very portable so it will stay in my truck to keep the tires topped off.

My friend - I was in the market for a new tire inflator and will buy the Pittsburgh unit from Harbor Freight. It is the first and only product I have ever bought from Harbor Freight. I watched your two videos and saw that you tore down the unit and it had largely metal as opposed to Nylon 66 type components. I have a lower pressure passenger car application and don't care if it takes a few more minutes to inflate the tire no problem. My issue with these lithium battery powered units is that batteries are not standardized and thus I have proliferation of batteries and chargers. In any case, I greatly appreciate you taking the time to test all of these units using a sound methodology and that you are independent and do not accept compensation from manufacturers or other 3rd parties. You are saving viewers a great deal of time and money. I don't buy anything without searching your videos to see if you have tested something first. Thank You! 🙂🙂

I bought the DeWalt a few months ago, but it only cost about $120. I didn't want to spend that much, recently moved from an area with a convenience store chain with free air . I have two tires with slow leaks, I got tired of spending $2 for air, and the pump didn't even work half the time. So after reading about the problems with the cheaper units available, I get the DeWalt. No regrets at all! Fairly quick, accurate, easy to use, no cool down time necessary, runs on battery or 12v plug in lighter. I also find out I saved $80!

Canadian trucker who transitioned into a niche branch of transportation and using 911 as fuel additive in winter to keep the company happy doing "due diligence" in N Dakota, MN etc almost killed 2 guys I work with and one of mine froze up south of Grand Junction,ND couple years back because I didn't have this stuff at the time. We fly a lot. Can't transport this stuff like a trucker living in a rig. Not even sure you'll get this stuff ordering online now shipped with everything going on now. The ONLY truck stop I know of that sells this specific formulation is the Flying J in W Bismarck,ND 5 miles up the road from the manufacturer. They really NAILED this product!!! I went with Standadyne Performance for my Jetta TDI and it aint bad as your tests demonstrated for lubricity/anti gelling properties. But it comes in second for a reason. Made in America is getting harder to find at a very real cost to everyone now. The personal $ you spend testing products truly independently is very much appreciated but I honestly think Hot Shot should contact you with some sort of remuneration/sponsorship. The emissions systems added to diesels now along with COSTLY bound to fail parts and repairs make personal diesels stupid at this point. But commercial vehicles aren't EV anytime soon. You help a LOT of people with your channel! If this gets you a sideline income as a distributor for a genuinely GOOD product it's a win/win for both parties duly owed in my opinion. If America goes down we are all fucked!!! The sooner we start co-operating the better. Canada right now is Weimer Germany in '38. Many are trying to fight it now but it's an uphill battle. Todd. You are a Super Cool Cat!!! Thank You. 👍👍🇨🇦

I bought into the Dewalt system years ago too so that's what I have. Mine seems to add point one PSI which makes up for the air lost when you unscrew the valve adapter. Only fail on mine is a design one - the older tall 3 amp hour batteries are taller than the compartment they slide into so the inflator sits on the battery, not it's feet.

@zeroelus
@zeroelus 10 ай бұрын
I'd add pliers and a set of tire plugs to that list. Recently upgraded our family ride and got a nice breaker bar and an adapter for the included jack so that it would be compatible with the same socket as the lug nuts used. Not 5 days later on a road trip I had to use them for the first time. Breaking loose the lug nuts was a non issue and removing the debris, plugging the tire and letting it set was a 10 min job, but inflating the tire was a 20 min ordeal with the pump I had (which is why I'm on this video, getting the Ryobi). I'll later on get an impact wrench to be able to use it with the adapter on the jack and hopefully reduce the 2 slowest parts of tire change next time!

If we carried everything that we need for “just in case” we would either need a larger van or a tag along trailer everywhere we go!, first aide kits, blankets, change of clothes, stable food sources, extra hygiene products, then stuff for these contraptions we drive around, and just because the car is newer, doesn’t mean that crap can’t happen! Oh I just remembered the flairs, that are illegal for motorists to use in some states, but you can have them for the police to use, and still have to pay the fine! Most states request flairs, but won’t use reflectors, at the scene of an accident even if gas is on the road... go figure!

The sound of the dewalt alone would make me choose it, just sounds like a quality pump.

Yes clearly Dewalt is the best pump. Speed shouldn't be the first parameter unless you plan to drag race them.

I’ve had my M12 Inflator for a year now and I’m very happy with it… as it takes up less room than a Bike pump and it really came in handy the one time I had a roadside low tire however … I have pumped up about 20 tires for friends and family … for bicycles just go 5 psi over …

I bought a Hausbell portable air compressor tire inflator from Amazon early this year. It does 0.5 PSI above the setting you set it at to account for air loss when you take off the air hose. I was concerned as it was cheap at the time. Like $25. It has worked well so far

At 2:30 the Avid Power's manual warns that the pressure display is not calibrated and to use a reliable measuring device to check. No wonder at 2:56 it's 18 PSI.

whats the point of even having a pressure gauge (especially if it's supposed to auto-shutoff) if its going to be THAT far off? i can understand ~5psi deviation, but this inflator is so far off i'm wondering if you had a defective one.

The Gauge has actually 4 different modes, is it in PSI mode for sure? That much difference seems way to much to believe :D
@ram89572
@ram89572 4 жыл бұрын
@@Koichifirst I don't know what the 4th mode could be, but that number is nowhere near the measurement in kPa, bars, or psi Edit, so I found the last mode would be kg/cubic centimeter and yeah it's not that one either. And if you look carefully when he shows the display of the gauge, you can just barely makeout that the gauge says it is in psi mode

Thank you very much for making these videos Sir, I am a video editor myself so I know the amount of work that it must take for you to put this and your previous video together. Well done, excellent video editing especially with the thermal camera footage and all. THANK YOU, THANK YOU and THANK YOU once more. I have found this video so helpful.

Didn’t look at this review at the time, as my jump pack/tyre inflator was still good at that point. However, I’m now in the market for a tyre inflator and your review has been very helpful - thank you.
