CH is the abbreviation for Switzerland. Since there are 4 official languages spoken in Switzerland (French, Italian, German and Romansh), they used the Latin words for "Swiss Confederation" as the abbreviation, which is Confoederatio Helvetica. So they didn't have to pick and choose a "favourite" language out of the four. 😌

Map creator here! Thanks for playing the map, I always love watching your videos and was thrilled to see you play it! Also, the yellow plates seen on the cars at 13:20 and 14:27 are found in Luxembourg. Also, town names in Luxembourg like 14:05 are surrounded by those metal poles, similar to Denmark as well.

Well, the last one is a lesson for Jack : Pay attention to what those accents are and on what letters they are. Because most of the world's languages HAVE accents (or diacritics, for a more technical and accurate term), so you can't just go "Well they have accents on the sign, they have accents where I'm looking, it must be right then". The ones you saw on the sign are called carons, and they are used in certain Slavic languages (mainly in the Balkans, and also Czech and Slovak), as well as in Lithuanian and Latvian. They are mainly put on top of C, S, and Z. Do not confuse with the breve, which is round instead of pointy, and is used on top of vowels instead of consonants. You will find it in Romanian. What you saw in Scandinavia are the letter Å, mostly used in Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian, as well as umlauts (like Ä or Ö), which are used in Swedish, but also, as you probably know, in German (but Swedish doesn't have Ü). The umlauts are not used in Danish or Norwegian; they use Æ and Ø instead. (Note : The umlaut, also called diaresis or tréma, is not exclusive to Swedish and German, it's used in many languages)

@@m4nchaeditz If you want to get real technical, those are diacritics. But I didn't want to use technical words. That being said, you're right, those aren't accents, and they are considered letters of their own by speakers of these languages.

Tip for Jack, I live in North Carolina and have been to many states, the Southeast area of the US is generally green with some areas having small green mountains, a lot of trees, and smaller cities in my area but Atlanta isn't small, and also a lot of states have streets or towns sharing the name of other states, so don't confused. For the West it is just mountains and desert with big cities popping up in more common western states but some small towns can pop up, I do know in the southwest there are a bunch of poor little areas that you need to watch out for and flat brick or stone is common in New Mexico. I don't know much about the Midwest but there are a lot of flat areas, mainly flat but also quite a bit of urban areas in the Northern Midwest, hopefully some of this helps
