I think it's a lot of things. Firstly, it's harder on a woman having kids, so I think some women like having non-bio kids because they didn't have to birth them. Secondly, women are more likely to enjoy and be comfortable with spending time with kids in general than men, probably due to gender socialization (for example, which kids are usually given baby dolls to play with?). Thirdly, slut-shaming plays a part - a woman who has sex outside of committed relationships is viewed a lot more negatively than a man who does the same, and a lot of people are likely to assume that's how she got to be a single mom. And lastly, moms are often the default parent especially if the parents aren't in a relationship together, so a single dad who actually has custody is a bit unusual and likely showing more responsibility than a lot of men in his situation would've.

They were suggesting that when their husband is drunk, they get friskier and actively wants to have sex. I immediately took the comment as a joke, and maybe it's my dark humor, but as someone who has been r*ped I personally didn't take her comment as a bad spirited joke. Comedians use crude and dark humor all the time, you can say many things in a comedic and humorous context that is morally questionable but completely separate from your own personal moral standing. All this to say- it was a joke. If her husband had reacted in a way that suggested he was offended then maybe it wouldn't be a harmful joke, but that's not the case. If the roles were reversed and he had made the joke and she had laughed, I'd feel the same way. I did not see this at all as condoning SA or promoting it. Can we please talk about how disturbing the jokes at the end of the video were? Poking holes in condoms without the other person knowing is sexual @$$ault/r@pe. Intending to get your husband drunk in order to force him to have more kids with you is r@pe. The end of this video made me extremely uncomfortable and I honestly cant believe Cut left that part in the video without at least correcting them. There is no universe in which r@pe/SA jokes are funny, and I really hope the people in the video who made those "jokes" realize this. And for anyone who tries to say that the husband didnt seem uncomfortable, how do you know what he was really feeling?? Also, they were filming a whole youtube video so the chances of that man saying he was uncomfortable ON CAMERA is very low.

I was very frustrated because I enjoyed the episode so much, but that was incredibly inappropriate!! I'm surprised they left it in, because if it was the other way around, there would've been a big commotion! I think for 'jokes' like this, there shouldn't be a double standard.
