I’m Soooo happy for you!!! Last time we spoke through email, your sabbath was Sunday. There’s a beautiful blessing, resting on sabbath. Our family has benefitted so much from it. Keep listening to the Lord, His will is better than anything we can muster up. I also want to say that the 7th day sabbath is a remembrance of creation and if we keep the sabbath we acknowledge that the Lord created the heavens and earth in 6 days, and on the 7nth day He rested.

The decorations, foods and music are traditional and nothing more. plater full of fresh fruits and nuts, fresh vegetables in and out of the refrigerator, making a fesh chicken stew, and trying to keep up with the weather. I just realized we all were created on the sixth day. That's a lot of goodness to have in praying for everyone. May I ask you a question. You are a SDA. I remember Sunday Blue Law in Louisiana USA, where I grew up. I have been in several Adventist and one sort of Adventist. I learned they hated Catholic and they had a mistrust near hatred for our nation's leaders like they were at anytime to force Sunday Blue Laws to remove the Sabbath. Is that the way it is in France? My momma knew I had an interest in Sabbath. She told me of Seventh Day Baptist in a city of where I later went to college. That church long left before I was born. @@Lcwp1963 I am proud and ashamed at the same time now that I realize we have been wandering in the wilderness for so long because of "insubordination" after our forbearers collectively rejected the 1888 message. Jesus isn't waiting on prophetic events to happen so He can come back. He is waiting on His rebellious bride to submit and allow Him to perfect her. The 144,000 must be close to ready and this gives me great hope. Current events tell us that probation is soon to close and that can't happen until the 144,000 are sealed. I have personal and collective guilt that the pain and suffering continue on, on this sad planet. Jesus should have been reunited with His faithful long long ago. Yet, I wouldn't have been born if He had been able to come back I, the 1890's like Ellen and the pioneers said He could have. I just pray that we all surrender fully and help hasten the 2nd coming. I just lost my dad in October. I want to be reunited with him and so many more as soon as possible. Blessings fellow multi-generational SDA.

@@kimbaker7354 - I am female too and I agree with you. Our church has lost many of the valuable principles it once had. Do you know if Ellen White wrote anything about it? My mother always wore a hat to church when I was young, and I am now 70. I know they always wore their hair braided and tightly up on top of their head in the late 1800’s, but don’t recall anything about head coverings. I know we used to have strict dress codes, but not anymore. It is heartbreaking how most dress now. Even men, with super tight suits and jackets that look like they shrunk in a drier. Their jackets are no longer long enough to cover up what needs to be covered.

I think Modesty has been disregarded and to my way of thinking, it reminds me of who I am,as well. I have always been a modest person, choosing longer skirts and blouses that aren't revealing. I understand well the lust of the eyes in regards to sexuality; from experience. I would rather way in on 'covering' than 'exposure'. I am considering that jeans/ pants are not appropriate unless my thighs be covered by a long top. I see models and people in tight pants) or not) and think" I don't want to see that" . I have had men of God say too , in a sort of wondering aloud, " why do they let there daughters dress like that? Are they looking for a husband????" So, even tho men of God want to honor Him, they struggle too. It is sort of disrespectful to the men in the church! The enemy will try to bring impure thoughts and doings, but we can weigh in on ' removing temptation' . We are to be fellow travelers, helping each other along this path, and we need to be mindful of these simple things. The tongue is much harder to control. sigh. I asked an Elder about head covering and he said" it is not our culture" I thought " sounds like 'tradition vs the Way'. No, I do not know if Ellen wrote of this, but then, they didn't have issues with pants and such, and, always wore modest dresses. They dressed this way. But the head covering, I do not know. My husband is ashamed of me and makes jokes about my 'dew rag' to his friends, but no one makes fun of him for wearing a hat ; all . the .time ! Blessings to you sister ! Keep the faith, Jesus is at the door! I am 66 by the way :)

It's the Seal of God vs the Mark of the Beast. What's the seal of the government of your country. Write it down and then compare it to exodus 20:8-11. Do you notice it's the only commandment that tells how is your CREATOR. Here let's look at it. Lord God , CREATOR of Heaven and Earth. But, it is good to rest on Sabbaths whenever possible. The Sabbath was made for man, not man made for the Sabbath. Ultimately we find our rest in Christ, He is our Sabbath.

The Father has a love language and this is it! This is the sign that we belong to Him. And if He never changes and what was declared right can never be wrong and what was wrong can never be right then the seventh day Sabbath is what he wants to see us do. That’s an actual physical rest to spend time with Him and rejuvenate. When we say that Messiah is our rest but we don’t actually rest then it’s not a true rest. Our physical walk should line up with our spiritual walk. End time prophecy declares that all the sabbath requirements listed from the beginning will be reinstituted again. “For whatever was written before was written for our instruction, that through endurance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have the expectation.” ‭‭Romans 15:4‬ ‭ “Six days you labour, and shall do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of יהוה your Elohim. It is so nice to know we all aren’t alone in observing and loving The Sabbath. For many years I felt alone especially because none of my biological family observes the Sabbath. I encourage anyone who feels lonely to be assured you are kept in perfect care of The Father and He will give you a community all His own. I believe it is important to feel and grieve these losses and I advocate for mourning Holidays as well. I would have been so much farther along in my journey if I would have been encouraged to mourn what I lost. 🦋

@@Guthix198 Only the Jewish people shall ceep the Sabbath on Saturday. Because God gave this commandment to his people, the people of Israel. NOT for the church. Just look at some verses: ~Exodus 31:12‭-‬13 AMP 《 And the Lord said to Moses, “But as for you, say to the Israelites, ‘You shall most certainly observe My Sabbaths, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, so that you may know [without any doubt] and acknowledge that I am the Lord who sanctifies you and sets you apart [for Myself]. 》 ~Exodus 31:17 AMP 《 It is a sign between Me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He ceased and was refreshed.” 》 But off course, we can hold the Sabbath on Saturday, like the Jewish people do, we just shouldn't judge people with different opinions, if we hold the Sabbath day or not.

I have observed sabbath (saturday) for a little over 3 years. I was always taught that Sabbath was spiritual, but thankfully, God has revealed how delightful it is for us. It is a sign between God and his people.

congratulations on finding the true Bible sabbath I grew up Amish joined a Mennonite church at 26 went to that church for 11 years and always felt empty and uninspired after church so I started searching the scriptures and discovered that the Sabbath was made for man not just for the Jews and I started keeping Sabbath its been a wonderful blessing God bless you and your ministry

When we rest on the Sabbath ( Saturday) we attended church . After church we fellowship with each other . Eating and talking about the Lord. We also share what the Lord has done for us through out the week. It’s a time for family and the Lord. Sing songs are playing bible games. We follow the Bible and the Lord’s Law the 10 Commandments. Out of the ten commandments , the only commandment that starts with REMEMBER, is the 4th commandment. Just bc the GREGORIAN calendar came along and people changed the numbers of the day to the names of planets and their Gods, does not mean that we let Satan confuse us and do the same. The Jewish have never changed their calendar and the whole world knows, even if you go look in a dictionary or a encyclopedia, you will find that the 7th day is Sabbath (Saturday). I am very proud that they chose to obey Gods word and not follow other mens words. Please read the whole message, even if you’ve been saved. First accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; confess that He suffered and died for your sins on the cross. Then start repenting of your sins because we all have sinned and transgressed God's laws. The Bible teaches that thee antichrist is the Papacy: The Bible clearly states what character traits the antichrist has and only the Papacy fits the mark; all the reformers including Martin Luther agree with this because they saw the character traits of the Papal Rome and it fit what the books of Daniel and Revelation were stating and this includes the whore of Babylon being the Vatican, and the whole world is drinking the wine [wine {grape juice}means doctrine in the Bible, but her wine is fermented wine like Sunday worship to cause spiritual confusion] of her fornication putting themselves in Babylon as well. The mark of the beast is Forced Sunday rest [The Papacy says that the mark of its authority is Sunday] & the banning of Sabbath [7th day] Rest. It takes courage to be in the army of Christ. The battle lines are drawn: you either choose God by keeping Sabbath or Satan by keeping Sunday. We will go through persecution and tribulation and Satan isn’t stupid, don’t underestimate Him; he can transform himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14): he won’t be coming in like some angel of darkness and his ministers of darkness will portray themselves as ministers of righteousness. Satan is showing all this evil to then come in as the good guy for you to join in unity in error-but you’ll think you’ll be worshipping God. Satan uses a lot of truth and mixes a little bit of error for your destruction. People will think they’re doing God’s work when they persecute God’s Sabbath keeping people (John 16:2). My brothers and sisters in Christ in the Catholic Church, those in Sunday keeping churches and for people that don’t know Jesus but are looking for the way, the life and truth-please come out of Babylon and repent of your sins before it's too late! But don't trust what I say; read and study the Bible to find out. I know what I said sounds harsh, I’m not trying to be, and I mean this with the upmost respect and kindness towards you and all of God’s beautiful creation of mankind-both in the body of Christ and outside the body of Christ. Keeping and resting on Sabbath along with, if you can congregate, always will mean you are choosing God and His authority in your life. Choosing Sunday now, since it hasn't been enforced, means you're knowingly or unknowingly choosing Satan's authority. But many will say, well Paul and the others broke bread on the first day of the week... Yeah you should worship God everyday and break bread with your brothers and sisters in Christ every once in a while, but Sabbath is the day of rest, hallowed and sanctified by God: The Seal to His Laws. The whole Bible says basically if you love God then keep his Commandments. Jesus died on the cross (Grace and Pardon) because we have sinned (transgressed His Law's[1 John 3:4]). So it's all about God's laws and Jesus saving us from our sin (His Sacrifice to pardon us and to save us for the Transgression of Gods’ Laws). Oh and yes, we are free from the Mosaic & Ceremonial laws when He died on the cross, but not God's Laws (Ten Commandments are in Exodus Chapter 20): we still keep them. We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ: We keep Gods’ Laws as a consequence of being saved. Love you, God bless. The book of Daniel in the Old Testament is the key to truly understanding the Book of Revelation; make sure to remember that every day in prophecy equals a year (Ezekiel 4:6 & Numbers 14:34). Book of Revelation is a chiasmus {[Looks like this(\/)](\Historical&Eschatological/)}also; this information will help you to understand the makeup of the way Revelation is written, along with The Book of Daniel. It is "every seventh day", with the days of the Roman Pantheon having zero relevance. As I see it, Christianity is to be a moral orientation, ever guiding us to a more perfect path, not just some "religion" we practice in order to obtain some sort of power in this world. As for those who say the Roman church corrupted the Sabbath, how do you reconcile that with the fact that the Bible was compiled by that same entity? Prior to about the fourth century, what we call the "Old Testament" was not coupled to what we now call the "New Testament". We don't know for sure what scrolls Jesus read from in the synagogue, or if he was indeed educated by the Nazoreans, as some say. If so, groups like the Mandaeans may teach us something about what he taught. The Antichrist is also described in 2 John 1:7-11. Remember, the Judaizers would ever seek to reduce the love of Christ to a set of vain rituals. We know what the Talmud says of Jesus, and that they pretend to be believers in order to deceive. I've been reading some of Martin Luther, lately, especially his book about the Jews. I'm finding that he was a rather colorful character, especially in his use of sarcasm, etc. Makes it interesting.

You're family is a light for other families. I too was raised in Sunday churches for many years until my husband and I married about 18 years ago. There is nowhere in scripture that says Sunday is the day of rest. When you think of Saturday for most, everyone is running to and fro, busy shopping, etc. God had a perfect plan when he created in six days and saw that it was good. I read Genesis 2:2,3 and accepted it - I started out on a Saturday about 9 years ago and then something came up against me doing it soon after, and I thought i could also do it on say, a wednesday, as someone else said... and the next tuesday i got a freak injury in my leg, just walking! It felt like someone grabbed and pulled at my calf sinew... The sinew was terribly uncomfortable/sore, but well again after 3 weeks. I repented immediately and learned my lesson not to chop and change God's Scriptural lessons around, to follow after other people's advice!

I’m just so thrilled that you have discovered and accepted the seventh-day Sabbath! God will bless you abundantly as you make a conscious decision to rest. Just a little testimony - in my 6 years at university, a few years back now, I refused to do any study on the Sabbath. While my colleagues were madly working on assignments and studying, I was enjoying restful communion with God, friends and family. God surely blessed that decision as I ended up receiving the University medal for outstanding grades. All praise and glory to Him! May we all continue to grow into deeper truth as revealed in His Word.

Hi Diana. Jesus is the light. Sabbath begins in the morning. There is no darkness in God. Do not follow what the Jews do. On creation God's day begins in the morning. You can not have an evening with a morning. Genesis 1:3-5 3¶And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 1 Thessalonians 5:5 KJV Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. The evening and the morning were the first day, the evening and the morning were the second day and so on. When Jesus was on the cross, He and the two thieves had to come down off the cross before sundown, because Friday sundown began The Sabbath and began the new day the seventh day. Man changed it to midnight much later. But we must obey God when He says Sabbath is to begin at sundown to sundown. regardless of man’s manipulation of time

The only feast that is done from evening to evening is the Day of Atonement. God is specific of that. A lot of people get theses mixed up. Jesus rose on the weekly sabbath. The sabbath you speak of is a feast. Like I said in creation I showed you the scripture as you showed me, you can not have a evening without a morning. You can not have evening without light. He septated the light from the darkness. Why do people put darkness first? @@Dekaendoles If you look at the science behind the creation and read the words you just quoted from the creation account you will see the reason behind the Jews starting the Sabbath on Friday evening. When Creation began the earth started rotating, about 12 hours later God said "let there be light". Then it spun for another 12 hours in light and the first day was completed. Darkness was first and then God brought in light, that is what is says. It even ends each day by stating it. It was evening and morning the first day. The first part of the first day was in darkness (evening) and then followed light (morning) and it was the first complete day. This was the case for each day. That is why all the days were kept by the Jews this way. Because that is the Biblical way of reckoning a day. It is not a Jewish thing, it is a Bible and God thing. You can see this even in the NT with the crucifixion of Jesus. Mar 15:42 And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath, Luk 23:54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. Luk 23:55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. Luk 23:56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment. Jesus was crucified on Friday, what the Jews called the preparation day, then when Jesus' body was removed from the cross and brought to the grave it was beginning to get dark (evening) so His followers did not put the oils and spices on His body as was the custom, instead it says they returned home to keep the Sabbath according to the Commandment of God. The 4th commandments that refers back to creation as it's origin. They started to keep the 7th day Sabbath on friday eve. I understand why you would like to put the light or day before the darkness, you want to give glory to God, the father of lights. But God prefers to be glorified through His way, not ours. I love your simple way with the scriptures, your little lesson on the sabbath has helped me go forward about the sabbath, when you said "Even God rested" just those 3 words have added to my knowledge of the sabbath. I added this to those 3 words " Even God rested (to show his children an example like a loving father when he wants to show his children how it is done") thank you very much.This phrase has changed my whole way of seeing Jesus in the N.T. how He did the same, He showed us the real baptism, obedience, even giving our life for the truth and love which is the ten Commandments and being a testimony of Jesus. He did nothing of His own but only what the Father showed Him. Me and the Father are One. I to am a Sabbath observer, and I know we are blessed because we worship the God who created the heavens, the earth, the sea and all that is in them by observing His Holy Day the Seventh-Day. No, it is a day that we remember the Sabbath (7th day of the week) and keep it Holy. It took God just 6 days to create this world and everything on it. The 7th day (the Sabbath) He rest. We are to rest, remember what God created during those 6 days, and to keep it Holy. It has nothing to do with Paganism.

Sabbath greetings from New Zealand! Like you, I too have been on a journey of faith too, and like you, God revealed His Sabbath to me too. When I reflect on it, I keep it as simple as I just love doing what Jesus did, and He kept the Sabbath, so I am happy doing what he did. To me, it is not about being legalistic or about works, but simply reflecting my joy at following God by doing things the way He set them up, and the way Jesus practised His faith when here on earth. As your son read out, that day was sanctified by God, so that is all good by me 💛 At the end of a tiring working week, I am so thankful to have Friday evening come, and to welcome in a day of rest! 🙏

My husband and I are continually blessed by your ministry! We are seventh day Adventists, therefore also keep the seventh day Sabbath, which is also our day for fellowship at church. You are so right though, that sometimes even “doing church” can be so busy!
