All of these MTB DH trails can be pretty tough, and the GoPro effect is real. But if you think you can read the footage or if you have ridden these trails, I would love to hear which trail you think is the hardest.

Good to see you posting again Alan! I was going to pick #3 too. It looks chunky on GoPro, which says something.

You really shred now. Is there a place closer than San Clemente you recommend to learn table tops and gaps better. Valley or OC

Hey Alan, I think that the chin mount and settings are really good for the pov footage. Rock on🤘

Redondo beach. But I don’t mind driving an hour or so. San Clemente is a bit far
@mtb_alan8 ай бұрын
Ha! I don't have much sympathy for you. San Clemente is 1.5 hours away from me. But I'll still help. 😆 One thing you can do is use the Inglewood Pump Track (or a pump track closer to you if there is one). The skills you gain at a pump track help with jumping. There are some smaller jump lines at the top of Santiago Oaks. I think there's maybe some jumps on the Fullerton loop, but I've only done that loop once a while ago. But yeah, like me, you're kind of far from a lot of spots. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I've been riding and racing Mountain Bikes for 30 years. #1 Blue Intermediate #2 Black Diamond to Double Black Advanced #3 Blue Intermediate but I'm sure the camera doesn't give it justice on how steep it really is. #4 Blue Intermediate.
@mtb_alan8 ай бұрын
Thanks for your input! Yeah, the camera does not do #3 justice. On a lot of that trail, I'm struggling to control speed and handle the loose chunk. Good times!

Oh, right on. Narrow and Chunky ends on the same road as Wide and Chunky but a few miles northwest. And Fast and Narrow is actually on the ridge above Fast and Rutty. But I don't think I could get back to Fast and Narrow on my own. 😆
