I would suggest adding in Dilo relatively soon - I see Dilo as this nocturnal hunter that can give the massive Omni packs a run for their money. The whole nocturnal niche isn't really accompanied by anything yet and night is generally used for by players to find a bush and just sit because no one wants to traverse the map at night, it's kind of like a grace period where you can sit and heal/grow for a few minutes, Dilo will make sure there is something to fear at night and will happily gobble up any afk creatures just waiting out the night cycle.

@@LEVYATHAN both would help in their own way allow being able to contest with sub rexes the way omnis contest with young ceras and carnos but sucho would be useful to since it gives sub deinos something to worry about but I feel like allo will be a little better since gateway will already nerf deinos and their growth timer and size will increase so I doubt deinos will be a huge problem

My idea for maiasaura-highly doubt this will be implemented, but i think it’s cool I think the maiasaura should have high health but low damage, with one high damage attack. A stomp, where it brings its front legs up, and then slams them down. (maiasaura irl could walk bipedal, so it seems like it’s anatomically capable of this.) The maiasaura would be incapable of moving until this stomp is over (so that it can’t chase after dinos to stomp them). It would also take a lot of stamina, (maybe) 25% to 40%, taking more stamina with growth. The main thing with the stomp is that it would take a while to do, around 3 seconds to initiate, hitting on the fourth second. (or 4 seconds to initiate, hitting on the fifth second) This gives most creatures a while to run away, except for the slower creatures, which all have high health. (stego, deino) While the maiasaura is stomping, it would be left open to attacks, meaning there is a high risk but high reward with doing the stomp. Its hitbox would need to work in a away that it can’t just run over a dino and trap it there, then stomp it while it can’t run away. The main time this stomp would be used would be against sitting dinos, as it’d take a second for them to get up, leaving less time for them to avoid the stomp. This stomp would also be used to attack dinos hiding in bushes, as a player in a bush may not see the maiasaura until it’s too late. This means that the maiasaura should have a unique walk sound, so that a player that is paying attention can avoid being stomped.

Sound reasoning, but I don´t quite see how bary is gonna help with deino population. They certainly won´t mess with adult ones. So once a few of those show up they will dominate whatever body of water they inhabit. And since so many people just outright REFUSE cannibalism, going so far as to annoint themselves as a canni-police, new deinos will have an easy time growing up.

So for me I would pick the following next playables as sets as well as my reasonings for them; Rauisuchus and Avaceratops: I really find Rauisuchids cool and with Rauisuchus being very small compared to most other Species adding it later would put it at a significant disadvantage. Additionally it could be the prototype animal for an armor mechanic like what they want to give to Magy, Minmi, and Anky. As for Avaceratops it would be a decently sized Ceratopsian and is roughly comparable in height to Rauisuchus. Herrerasaurus and Protoceratops; They are comparable in size and both add a new mechanic to the game. Plus with them being added so early it lets them better get used to how they are gonna balance Megalania and Minmi. Minmi and Magy; These two tiny terrors, trouble tons thanks to their traits. Both require some serious balance testing and would both benefit from being added early. Plus seeing these two relatively controversial added in the same update would be funny. Baryonyx and Austroraptor; With these two being a Jaguar and Herring respectively they could both hunt juvenile and midsized Deinosuchus, whist remaining food for more mature individuals. Finally Allosaurus and Maiasaura: After looking at all of the other herbivores and carnivores I think what you said about the two of them makes the most sense. I honestly don’t know what else to add to it. Maybe Plateo instead of Maia, but I honestly just have a bias towards Sauropods and Sauropodamorphs. I think with these updates the game would have a decently balanced core roster, that could help them get thee remaining small tier animals done while still keeping people interested with some of these popular and relatively large animals.

@@goldfishmentality apparently they might not even be adding it, and considering that it and Plateo are seemingly less of a priority to them than adding the large Apexes, I honestly am worried when they are added they will be horribly irrelevant.

Can it finally die? It has been so drawn out that smaller companies have completed games with AI and all of what the Isle could have had at launch. At this point, it's old and as an ex-avid Isle player from back when it first came out, it only got worse.

Also really loved your idea for the new dinosaur survival game is amazing and I would definitely buy and or support it if and only if it can live up to the promises. Okay, I may be tripping here, but that screenshot at 1:25 feels extremely familiar to me. It's possible that I am the bright white gator in that image there. If it was taken on NA 4, 5, 6, or 7, it's highly possible that screenshot shows that stego's final moments before I dragged it into the water and killed it.

Alright so Im gonna say what I would like in the isle: 1. Erythrosuchus, this thing is around the size of a carno so I dont think its too big but its also balanced due to the fact that it has these tiny legs so it would probably be pretty slow but it would have high damage 2. Glacialisaurus, it would probably be one of the first tanks that the game would have having a large amount of health but pretty bad speed it could also probably be able to switch from all fours to 2 legs 3. Baptornis , I mean a diving bird would be pretty interesting to see and I think it would still be decently fast enough 4. Eagle shark , now I know this is kinda cheating but hear me out, the eagle shark should be in the game as a counter to deinos having a shit ton of health and damage but slow speed Edit: I was thinking a little more about the eagle shark so I think to not add it for now but when the game gets larger animals then add it

Eagle Shark, or any other pure aquatics for that matter, are a terrible idea. For one they are unlikely to inhabit the same bodies of water as the semi aquatics so they wouldn´t have much influence over deino population. And more importantly, splitting the playerbase into land and sea animals is just a terrible idea in every aspect. I don´t know how large gateway is gonna be, but if we take spiro as an example you can already walk for hours without ever seeing a single other player by just avoiding hotspots. Don´t need to make that worse. So unless they can magicly make the game handle 200+ players per server (hahaha, yea right), pure aquatics should, imo, NEVER join the roster

i think carno should be "able" to hunt maia. But only the carnos that know what the hell they are doing should attempt it. and it should be a group hunt (2-3 carnos to kill a maia)

The better is to do like 3 or 4 more mid tiers after that acro and giga for carnis and one sauropod and triceratops for the next dino apex need to be released slow they can broke the game. The problem is the time they are so slow they don't care about us or something ?

Imo after what the developers are currently planning (dilo, herrera, dibble, maya, kentro, trike, rex) the developers should refrain from adding new dinosaurs for a while and get on with the game, adding the migration system, elder, and mutations that are planned. I know that this can be added and even before or along with these dinosaurs, but the developers should make this game more survivalist than pvp but with boring growing

Game is too broken to play. 300ms of latency or more with over 40 people on a server. The reason for this is because the developers didn't implement cooldowns for attacks or "skills". These developers DO NOT have experience at developing games. The artist take much too long just to make a skin for a dino also. Social media is the only thing keeping this game alive but once people play it once they never pick it back up again.

I think cooldowns have their own problems, but the game should be in a better state once moved to UE5
