That align your body to the initial line of flight tip is straight out of regular golf and is very important IMO. It's something I carried over from the ball to the disc. A great tip I haven't heard very much in DG. Edit: Keystone, Fuse, Diamond - your understable needs below distance driver. All great discs I use regularly.
@danlewis18853 жыл бұрын
I signed up for the Trilogy Challenge this coming July and the Lat64 disc is a 170+ Carot Sapphire according to the photo. I replied to a video in this series a while back asking to make the 170+ Carat Sapphire since I threw the 170+ Carat Diamond - looks like they listened to me😁 Jonathan has some power so I would suggest the 170+ Sapphire over the Diamond as it will be slightly less understable. I'd also suggest Opto-X Fuse for the understable midrange.

Jonathan, I'm a newbie too. I putt with the Keystones and had to put my drivers down and throw with putters to correct my form. Can I suggest that you experiment with different arm speeds instead of ripping it hard? Like, get out to a field and rip it as hard as you can (100%), then dial back to less hard (90%, 80%, 70%, etc) and just let the disc fly. You'd be surprised how far a disc can fly at 50%. Then focus on syncing up your leg speed and arm speed. Slow arm speed means slower steps

I've recently realized how much I'm repping team trilogy, my putting putters are a pair of emac judge's, I also carry 3 throwing putters of differing stability, using a LucidX Warden as my straight approach, a VIP Harp as my overstable approach, and a really seasoned zero soft pure as my understable approach or for those shots where I need the disc to just really stick to the ground. For my Mids I have to admit I've fallen in love with Prodigy's M3, and as that thing is becoming more understable I have recently ordered an MX3 to "replace" it.... Then we get to my fairway drivers where it's all trilogy again with a VIP underworld, Gold Saint Pro, Opto Explorer and Tournament Ahti... In my driver slot I have some more variation, my go to for big distance is the Innova Wraith in G-Star plastic, but I also bag a Pro Beast for rollers and really understable shots, a Halo Tern for tailwind drives or long turnovers, and at the more overstable end we get back to trilogy again with a opto Ballista Pro for big hyzers or headwinds and a Fuzion Enforcer as that really overstable "utility" disc...
