Fun fact about the ancient meteoric great sword it is very well possibly the oldest item in the Elden ring. It's a chipped part of an arrowhead that ancient gods used before even the dragons ruled the lands between. This next to the mother of fingers head could easily be the oldest item ever recovered

I can never properly explain my love for the Ancient Meteoric Greatsword. The guts greatsword carried my STR/FTH build for a while but when i got my hands on the AM Sword, i fell in love with it lmao. Distance, Damage, the BEST R2 ATTACK, PIERCE DAMAGE(which is arguably the best damage in the game) AND IT LOOKS SO COOL!

Can I ask what kind of build I should go for to use the AM sword? Due to its stat scaling what would you recommend stat wise for point investment? Also, what other weapons would you recommend for this build?

@PulseBladeenjoyer usually I like my builds in elden ring to be strength and faith. You can make yours however you want but since it's a colossal sword you would obviously need STR and even tho it's a gravity weapon, the weapon does not scale with intelligence but arcane. So 36 STR, little bit of DEX(somewhere around in the 10s i think) and 19(i believe) ARC are required for the AM Greatsword. You can still apply arcane if u wanna do a dragon build with the AMO Sword. If not that, then apply all your stats to INT or FTH. Experiment and play whatever makes you feel comfortable. I myself like to use Messmer's Spear as my secondary weapon. The talismans I use are the two handed talisman, the charged attack enhance talisman, Shard of Alexander and two headed turtle talisman cause that spear throwing do be draining my stamina. As well as those heavy swings of the AMO Greatsword

@@Wolf-SS If you have the two handed talisman and the extra roll attack damage talisman (both are dlc) then the damage from even normal attacks are crazy good, especially since its rolling attack is so quick. Also the talisman that boosts weapon skills will do wonders as well.

I recommend getting the Stone Sword in the Fog Rift Catacomb first since that is the most annoying of the three locations involved to reach. Then if you want to change light to dark or back you are just messing with the other two easy locations.

The AMOG I'm pretty sure is meant to be a reference to Armored Core, and specifically, the AC games Miyazaki worked on, 4/For Answer. It seems like it's meant to allude to the legendary White Glint, what with its ash of war literally being a burst of white light after an extremely fast and mobile charge. Lorewise the AMOG is said to have been the arrowhead of a colossal ancient god, made of meteoric ore... So it's from space, it was wielded by something absolutely gigantic, and it lets the user charge at high speed in a burst of white light. White Glint was named so because it was so fast, people would only see it as a flash of white. And of course, it would tower over any human. Either way, it's one of the coolest weapons in the game.

Sword of Darkness and Light should've been something new .. a combine AoW. Hear me out - straight swords in fact are best powerstanced unless you're going shield or caster side - but these two still require you to hold each/and cast at a time. Instead I'd of let the AoW itself change when powerstanced or combine the blades as a choice for the player into a group'd dual sword.. Idk im trying to convey my thoughts here lol

Red iron twin blade with lightning buff is by far the strongest weapon in the game. You melt all dlc bosses in seconds. Its not even debatable at this point lol. Everyone just reads meta and goes rapier, i go red iron twin blade 😂

Even before the video started, I knew it was going to be the twinblade, Euphoria. Twinblades in Elden Ring are ridiculously OP and Euphoria has one of the most broken AOWs since pre nerf Sword of Night and Flame's Night and Flame Stance.

It’s worth noting that Euporia only needs 1 charged R2 to gain a buff tier, and each buff tier last a full minute now if I recall, so not only is it stupidly easy to get the buff, but it also lasts for so long that you could disengage with the boss for a full minute and still have the buff active. They tricked it out so much the weapon forgot how to turn itself off.

I started my NG+ rocking Euporia, Miquella's crown, and the Tree Sentinel set, and I don't think I've ever felt more like a literal God than then, in any game. Bosses and minibosses were just gone within seconds, it was even too much and I had to change the build to at least make things interesting

What about the Anvil Hammer? It's another legendary weapon acquired in one of the forge ruins like Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword. It's a Colossal Weapon that deals both physical and fire damage, scales off of Str and Fai, and in terms of numbers is the strongest weapon in the game. It's skill, Smithing Art Spears, lets you crash the hammer into the ground and makes several spears erupt from the ground however it does leave you stance locked for a while hence why I rarely use it

Quick psa abt elden ring: Either jar shard does NOT buff holy damage, you're better off using something else. Also, flock's canvas and faithful's canvas talismans also do not increase holy damage on incantations, you are better off using something else Edit: Comments have shown that this only applies to pvp, thank you comments

You are halfway right. Those do not buff Holy damage ON PvP. For some reason more than half of holy damage weapons and buffs don't work on PvP On PvE those do increase Holy damage.

The best DLC weapon (bar none), is the Anvil Hammer. Biggest bonk in the game, does physical and fire damage (easily buffable), massive stance damage. It's just an unga bunga power fantasy.

Euporia is undoubtedly the strongest, but it's a twinblade and I think we all know they suck to play. ;) Having to charge with hits makes it even less fun, I'd say it's easily the least fun play style weapon despite its power. Meteoric is still strong but *WAY* more fun to play.

I don't really think it makes sense to rank the Swords of Light and Darkness in the way you did, they're not really supposed to be primary weapons. The Sword of Light in particular has an unmatched Holy buff making it perfect to have backpocketed for literally any holy build, including the Euporia itself.
