Helpful video which was well presented. My only other comment is a list of the plants shown in the description box would have been very useful.

a video I didn't know I needed until I watched it! :) thank you. I bought a Nandina last year and absolutely love it, it's so pretty. I potted it up in a decent size pot with normal compost and it seems to be doing okay. Would I be better off to repot with the eraceous compost or leave it as it is?
@arthurfnshelby4335
@arthurfnshelby4335 3 жыл бұрын
Keep an eye on it and any signs of leaves wilting etc then re pot it. If all ok I’d repot it around autumn with ericaceous just as winter approaches, the plant should be a bit dormant then. Ps keep a look out for a Hydranga call ‘ Runaway Bride’ , not the big ball flowers but small flowers on every stem. Garland type. It was a Chelsea winner, stunning plant. We live up in NE Scotland and it flowers fine up here so looks like climate doesn’t affect it. Good video this.

Ya, nandina, invasive AF! Camilia, messy, piracantha, PAINFUL! but will make anyone thinking about trespassing, rethink that and kalmia is beautiful but gets pretty big, sarcacocca has supper fragrant flowers, but are not very showy, in fact they are so small that their pretty nonexistent, but they are amazingly sweet smelling and when planted en-mass the smell is intoxicating, one of the first to bloom in spring, the air is saturated with a sweet fragrance that unless you know the plant- no one knows where its coming from because the flowers are so small

You could grow vegetables in your garden? herbs? sprouts? fruits? I only saw two comments about these being poisonous and that is quite important for my situation. I'm planning to grow them in quite close vicinity to edible plants so there could be risk of contamination. I can guarantee both of your 2 sons have eaten plants, in fact there is a whole diet based on plants. I will let you research it.
