Please forgive me for saying the camera name wrong! I heard it called the "X100 V I" early on and went with that. Almost every other KZbin video I've watched since calls it the "X100 6" 😪😅

Appreciate the hard work that went into making this video. I liked Reala Ace the best. It retains shadow details while increasing mid/high contrast, darkening blues a little and increasing vibrance and luminosity of the yellows. Next best, for me is Nostalgic Negative. Perhaps will need to increase the tonal contrast for the Nostalgic Negative. Thank you so much.

Hi thanks for watching! I explain right at the end how I got 5 film sims - 3 through film sim bracketing in camera and then I found the RAW files and made the others in the X100VI. It's interesting how so many Fujifilm shooters love Classic Chrome! I like it, but it's not my fave usually.

Nostalgic Neg. has a warmth to it, that works well in most of the shots in my opinion. Looks like you found a lot to photograph while in China. Regarding "v-one" vs. "6" vs. "v-i", Fuji didn't make it easy with how they named the X100 line in the first place. I think it shows, they didn't expect the level of success they got with the X100 cameras and didn't plan to keep making new versions. It makes me wonder if they wouldn't rather have had their interchangeable lens series cameras like the X-T, X-S and X-Pro lines get the success if they could have chosen.

Thanks Matt! Great video and great job putting it all together! Reala Ace is definitely my favourite, but I think it works really well in nice natural light. In artificial light it looks flat to me. Nostalgic Negative is my second favourite. I think Classic Negative is probably Fujifilm’s worst film sim. It does look okay sometimes in artificial light, but I think it makes everything look bad imo. Thanks for putting together this comparison.

reala ace and classic chrome are my favorites. followed by Pro Neg Hi. Nostalgic Neg has too little contrast. Its nice but not for every occasion.

Nostalgic Neg No.1 and Classic Neg No.2 for me. Pro Neg Hi yuk, it should have been trashed many versions before now ! A firmware update should remove it from all x100 cameras before any more travesties are committed.
