Alright I keep getting comments about this so o figured I’d just explain it in the comments. I messed up in the video when I said the Nomad from Wildlands and Breakpoint are different characters. I know they are the same, at the time of making this video for some reason the fact that they had different voice actors made me think they were different characters. That’s my bad though sorry.

UNIDAD is a way deadlier enemy not to mention Los Extranjeros. You think the latest update in BP is challenging, try Ghost Mode (extreme).
@masterassassin7914 жыл бұрын
Very good points I agree and thank you for sharing
@balxv4 жыл бұрын
BPs enemy AI is way more advanced than Wildlands' in every aspect, it shows you haven't played BP recently. Skill tree in BP is not a mess, it's pretty simple and straightforward. Story. Nothing sci-fi about drone warfare, sure they're a little more advanced than in current times irl, but then again the game is set up in 2025, so some drone advancements are not surprising. Now the raid and the bosses in it are ridiculous. What's wrong with terminator? It's a fun live event, wildlands had the predator come, like come on. I do agree with what you said about Bolivia being more lively and the story of wildlands being better. But aside from that, Breakpoint is just simply better.
@abelingaw50704 жыл бұрын
@@balxv About that terminator, it is a plot hole just to integrate time travel to the series, and for F's sake, I hope Ubisoft do not think of doing that in the GR franchise. At least the Predator is an alien, not something from the future or something like that. I played BP in the highest difficulty with no HUD, so I know what its like,. Even with that setting, when fighting wolves, you are still bullet spongy to a degree, while in Wildlands you get about 5 and then you're down. Now if Tier mode is activated and you go below 30, 1 hit and your down. See the comparison there? Try raiding a wolves den in BP and then try doing that in Wildlands against UNIDAD until you get level 4 alert in extreme and no HUD then see which AI is more threatening. Los Extranjeros is excluded in my argument just to be a fair on that aspect.
@balxv4 жыл бұрын
@@abelingaw5070 I also played both games on highest difficulty + no hud. Wildlands was much easier, because there are no drones and the bases were emptier than in BP. BP is a lot more challenging in immersive, highest difficulty and all that. You might not die immediately but the injury system literally cripples you and makes it hard for you to escape a tough situation. Also like I said, AI in BP is more advanced and they take cover and do somewhat coordinated attacks on you, especially wolves. Terminator event is as realistic as the predator. Alien or not it's still a sci-fi movie character.

To go a bit further (I do agree that Wildlands is better, btw), I want to say that the Open-World for BP isn’t as bad as it seems. In a Helicopter/plane, it may be boring, long, etc. But (and I didn’t see this considered) enemies in BP spawn everywhere.... literally EVERYWHERE. You don’t have to walk 5-10 minutes to a checkpoint, city, or drug garden to find enemies. Just walk/drive 50-60 meters and boom, you have enemies right there. Some may argue that it’s repetitive, defeating the same enemies over and over every few seconds, but with things like Restock Trucks, Äzriel Drone’s, Murmer (correct my spelling) Drone, Behemoth, and Incubus Drone Danger Areas, it’s sure to keep you on your feet.!!! I’m also glad that they added the A.I. Squad-mates in BP, but this poses the problem of Static Intelligence (something I made up while writing this 🤣). Is it cool that they shift styles of engagements based on weaponry and follow your (supposedly) every move? Yeah. It’s dope. And I wish Wildlands had it. But in Wildlands, you can change the stats of the AI. You can make them tougher, better killers, and more effective with weapons/gear to compensate for the rising difficulty. In BP..... you can change *your* stats. Your teammates... well, they get the short(er) end of the stick. They have the same health, same target acquisition speed, and they aren’t as effective as they are in Wildlands. And they don’t do *everything,* as advertised. They can’t use Prone Camo (it would be dope if they could), Stealth Swim, or even use their Class abilities. I get that you’re supposed to be the leader and carry your team, but other Ghosts, AI or not, should be smart enough to use their surroundings and gear to their utmost advantage. (Sorry for the long comment. It was a mouthful 🤣)

@@krismadymatt7751 but your first point was already a thing in wildlands. Also wildlands was filled with civilians which made it feel alive unlike breakpoint,. All you find are the same to bikes with the same 2 enemies with a drone.
@krismadymatt77514 жыл бұрын
Yoperon Well, kind-of, sort-of, not really. I do agree that Wildlands had more civilian activity compared to Breakpoint’s (with them appearing on roads, in cities, and other sites), and it feels a little harder when you have to check for civilians. But I do stand by my statement about enemy activity in both games. In Wildlands, the only way to get into a full-out brawl in the wild (not in cities, drug gardens, or mines) is to attack one of the Unidad Choppers, alert one of the *very* rare Unidad patrols on the road (or near burning cars), or alert one of the Cartel “Bagmen” in their Lambos. Yeah, there’s less civilian activity in BP, and that’s definitely a con, but.. my point is that there’s much, *much* more hostile activity. You could start a fight literally anywhere on the map. You don’t need to be near the road, in cities, bases, drug gardens, or even near a supply truck. The enemies in BP constantly patrol the area; In snowy mountains, jungles, swamps, cities, you name it. Now, in cars and on roads, that might be a different story, since there’s the added variable of civilians, and the rarity of the hostile spawns shift. But just roaming around in a multitude of environments, there’s plenty of hostiles to keep yourself from getting bored. And I do want to clear this last thing up by saying that there’s more patrol variations than just two bikes/enemies and a drone. Sometimes it’s three enemies, (a) vehicle(s), no drone, and sometimes intel. Or a Civilian “campsite” with intel. Or a civilian being held hostage by enemies. Or even a standard patrol of 3-5 men that are completely randomized from faction (Sentinel or Wolves) to the enemy unit. Wildlands, though they do have heavies and Snipers, just don’t have that type of variation, or randomness in terms of spawn. (Sorry for the long comment 🤣. I had a lot to say.)

Another thing to add, and this goes along with the boring travel of Breakpoint. There are no radios in the vehicles, and without the casual chatter of a squad, you're just left with dead silence on your travels. But to give Breakpoint a piece of credit, the injury system is pretty cool (in my opinion), there's something satisfying about limping your way out of enemy lines, sneaking through the jungle as you try to get back to a bivoac to heal... Here's my take in Breakpoint v Wildlands. Breakpoint has some improvements, them being moving bodies, prone camo, cosmetics, and thats about it. Breakpoint is missing 70% of what made Wildlands the masterpiece it was. To my knowledge, only 2 things from Wildlands have been incorporated recently (AI Teammates, Prone System) and nothing else. The things that make the game awful outweigh the improvements. Story, movement, ammo, difficulty, open world, Vehicles, etc. Story is horrendously setup, and the only thing that redeems it is Walker, which like you said, has very little screen time and no clear tie to Nomad (unless you played Wildlands which makes it understandable). Movement is meh, the only drawback being no strafing, but still, changes the game a lot. Ammo is god awful, they really need to go back to weapon type ammo, not caliber. If they go caliber, the need to at least get it right, because the Five Seven does not shoot 5.56 rounds, it shoots 5.7 rounds, hence being named, the 5.7. No challenge whatsoever, unless in extreme and maybe in advanced. There's no risk whatsoever to not going stealth, besides maybe one reinforcement caller who summons, at most, one heli that can get taken down in microseconds, where in Wildlands, if you weren't stealth, an alarm might go off, calling a heli, SB might call reinforcements, Unidad might get to level 4 patrol, etc. It was actually a dangerous situation. Not to mention Tier mode (fancier extreme difficulty) or Ghost Mode (perma-death) which made it all the more important to go stealth. The world is just barren. There has to be some kind of lore explanation for the lack of civies in the world, like a lockdown or something, because it is just empty as hell. Vehicles are terrible compared to Wildlands, specifically motorcycles. This isn't even the extent of the BS in Breakpoint, but I have a suggestion for difficulty. If Breakpoint gets the patrol level system incorporated for Wolves, it will be so much more fun and intense. Imagine getting chased through the jungle by 3 trucks and a helicopter. Imagine the Wolves actually feeling like trained forces (as they are literally former Ghosts) and being more challenging than Bolivian Spec Ops. If 4 Ghosts can dismantle an entire country, why can't an army of Ghosts take out 1-4 Ghosts? And also, get rid of gear mode and bullet sponging. It makes sense for the raid and behemoths but nothing else. I should be able to get an unsupressed Koblin Shot right through the little crack in the drone's armor and blow it up.

I agree that wildlands is the superior game for a number of reasons. But primarily because of the story. Breakpoint doesn't just have an obscure story, it also fails to make the villains, well... villainous. The sicarios in wildlands are blatantly evil - kidnapping, pillaging, corrupting the local government, crucifying dissenting locals, imprisoning rebels and locals, and using them for their rituals. You don't think twice about eliminating a Santa Blanca sicario. I do however have some reservations about eliminating Sentinel forces - which shouldn't be the case in a Tom Clancy game. Yes Sentinel forces look ominous, but are they evil like the sicarios? I would say that the Sentinel forces are more gray than black. At best they're bringing military strength to an otherwise vulnerable country. At worst, Sentinel is just... douchy. With the exception of Walker executing a fellow soldier, and Skell employees being forced to work on national defense, there's nothing all that compelling about eliminating Sentinel soldiers. Many of the Sentinel bases hold outcasts (rebels) as prisoners. The outcasts are regarded as terrorists even by Nomad. So why the hell am I ghosting an entire camp just to bust out a terrorist? That's drastically different than freeing rebels from the Santa Blanca camps. Ubisoft really didn't think that one through. The whole 'good guy gone bad' storyline has been used in so many Tom Clancy games that it's becoming cliche. It was used at least twice in wildlands, and now Ubisoft has based an entire game on it. It's simply unrealistic. The more a Tom Clancy game resembles real life, the more players will love it. Other things that breathed life into wildlands that are missing from breakpoint: a CIA contact (e.g. Bowman) to brief you on missions, AI teammates (as mentioned in the video), and entertaining radio. Those long rides to your mission are awkwardly quiet, and could sure use some music, or an Aurora version of DJ Perico. Who knows, there might actually be radio but I wouldn't know. The breakpoint audio glitches so often that I really don't know what I'm missing. Also the flight and driving physics is noticeably worse in breakpoint. And in breakpoint, you really have to grind for skill points. Wildlands had a better balance between effort and upgrades. One thing I would disagree with is Aurora having more environmental diversity than wildlands. Both have mountains, forests, and jungles. But wildlands also has deserts and salt flats. But despite the landscape graphics being worse in breakpoint, Aurora is more visually appealing. I guess that I'm too far into breakpoint to stop playing. Hope the ending doesn't suck as much as the wildlands ending.

Our vote also goes to Wildlands. While both game has their pros and cons, Wildlands felt WAAAY more like a real location. Wildlands setting with civilians driving around and walking around bustling villas felt way more alive than Breakpoint, where practically every vehicle you see coming down the road is an enemy vehicle with a mounted machinegun. For me Wildlands is better. There are only a few elements from Breakpoint that i would like in Wildlands. I always get the feeling that Breakpoint was originally supposed to be a Splinter Cell game game.
@danielgoodland96084 жыл бұрын
Yea, I agree. I feel like Breakpoint is a cross of the two Wildlands expansions, solo gameplay of Narco Road and being hunted be elite force of Fallen Ghosts. If you want an open world tactical game like breakpoint, but good, cant go wrong with MSG5.

I think the wildlands is better. I do like some of the customisation from breAkpoint. The gear looks like the real thing. Hiding in the mud is a nice feature and the characters move like real operators. Ghost recon could make it more realistic, for example only having one primary weapon or Realistic back packs like the army actually uses. I believe the next game should be closer to milsim.

That would be great, thank you for sharing your thoughts.

If you want a more milsim playthrough of wildlands you should try ghost mode. It's the hardest difficulty, you only get 1 primary and a pistol, and for a extra challenge one life. You die, you die. But when you kill the head of smuggling or the other 4 plus el suenu you can get the exoskeleton suit. I do believe you would enjoy it.

That's like asking what death would you prefer, death by fire, or death by fire ants? Both are excruciating but at least you stop feeling pain once the flames burn your flesh off. Neither is enjoyable. I'll choose any Assassin's Creed or Division game, however if the choice is truly limited to Ghost Recon, then I'd choose Wildlands because the quests meshed with the world design. In Breakpoint it did not. After barely escaping a horrific helicopter crash, losing 95% of my team of brothers, stealthily avoided numerous patrols to not trigger any alarms, armed with turn of the Century tactical hand me downs, a pistol and 3 magazines for C-TAR, I finally discover a small village of civilians. Speaking to an elderly fisherman, rather than ask for directions or assistance my character accepts a quest to return with scrap metal in order to help this unknown senior build a lure, with a gruff "Sounds good". No, this does not sound good. You're stranded on an island defended by helicopter eating drones and you have the utter lack of awareness to accept a lure crafting quest. I turned the game off and that was it. If a game is that corny while trying to be serious in the first few hours, what's it going to degrade to in the late game? lol

It sucks that Breakpoint had to turn out so bad. The few mechanics and optimizations that DID IMPROVE from Wildlands would have been highly appreciated in Wildlands but alas everything else fell short. Breakpoint has damn near no soul. You're out in the wild and it's just a vast open space of nothingness. No decent ambient music, no populated villages, no signs of culture or civilization, no life to the land. Also I really want to know their design philosophy for even adding futuristic drones or some shit. I thought the idea for the sequel and truly what everyone wanted was a more immersive and realistic....? Anyways fuck it. It is what it is. Vote with your wallet. Don't give them money for chicken shit, that includes upcoming titles like Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Loved Wildlands. One of my favorite Co Op games ever. Especially on the hardest difficulty. Tried to play Breakpoint, it does not have the same feeling as it's predecessor at all. And something that turned me down was the fact that it spawns enemies literally every 50 meters on the road. I just want to take it slow and enjoy the world. I don't need enemies exactly everywhere! And if I get spotted by that drone airplane, there will be enemies at my position in ten seconds, I mean come on?! And don't get me started on the drones. The game is not made for playing on the hardest difficulty, making it hard to play. Making me sad because Wildlands was such an awesome experience.

Just finished the advertised "main campaign" and am utterly disgusted to the level money-grabbing it has become and how much of a downgrade it has been in terms of immersiveness and atmosphere compared to Ghost Recon Wildlands. The good side: The dirt simulation and terrain deformation are impressive, really liked the new camouflaging mechanic. guns sound pretty neat, the new micro-animations are pretty cool and eye-catching, you can only change guns at camps you make which is also pretty cool. You can craft some boosts for your activities with gathered resources (collecting plants, killing animals) such as medical syringes, stamina boosts, fatigue boosts, collecting water to avoid dehydration, etc. Climbing physics has been improved a lot, and if you get fatigued, you will slip your balance while running downhill which is pretty cool. If you get severe bullet injury or deep cuts, you player struggles to run and if you get more injuries your player has to drag himself to safety while using a shaky sidearm as the only usable weapon as you apply bandages and medkits, the animations for applying the bandages are also impressively neat and realistic. You need to hide bodies after you kill them to avoid raising alerts and the security drones make it challenging enough. The car handling is much smoother now and there are a lot of variations for some weapon models such as the AK47, which can be found in 3 variants: 5.56 variant for CQC, normal variant for mid-range, assault variant for intensive fights (no suppressor), DMR variant for long-range combat. The variants are neatly detailed as well. The drones make it a little more challenging now and over-all, the mechanics and micro-animations, details, and graphics are pretty impressive. THE BAD SIDE: Firstly your AI teammates are *****g braindead robots that do not talk unless there's an enemy approaching or there's intel nearby. The "immersive new map" is ***** dead, there's nothing but trees and dumbass birds and pigs. You can't walk two inches without having a patrol sticking their nose in your butt. The civilian A.I is so annoying that it almost feels like the devs want to PUSH YOU TO massacre them. The map is really empty and filled with repetitive side quests. The side quests feel boring but must be done to purchase new gear. You need to buy useful weapons at shops now using in-game currency. Most of the weapons that can be collected in the world are pretty useless and a really big hassle to obtain. Useful attachments need to be bought from the shop, you cannot modify your weapon like Wildlands anymore, only able to change magazines and foregrips. You need to buy weapon paint from shops unlike Wildlands, each one priced at exasperating rates, Ubisoft tried to put in microtransaction with this tactic. good basic clothing that does not make you look like a hillbilly on a field-trip also needs to be bought from the shop and have disgustingly high rates. There are no special debriefs for each mission, only bland voice actings with A.I animated facial expressions that make it very boring to watch. Nomad's new voice actor sounds like he's trying WAY too hard to have a deep voice and sound intimidating. *SPOILERS AHEAD* They kill off Weaver, the character they developed in Wildlands at the first 10 minutes of the game and make Holt, a disabled NPC that lies on a med-bed for the rest of the game. Midas is captured but you need to pay Ubisoft more to get him freed. The story makes you feel like you're fighting on the wrong side of the team, I regret killing Walker and feel like I did more of a favor to the evil than the good. Not only does the story suck ass, but you also don't even get the entire conclusion of the story in the 50 dollar game you buy. You need to spend another 30 dollars to get the year-pass to get the rest of the story and conclusion, they're not even DLCs. The atmosphere and the character interaction are so generic and Hollywoodized you almost cringe while playing them. The only character I grew an attachment for and was impressed by was Walker, who you need to kill off. Walker's character has a proper backstory, has proper development that justifies his necessary evil. His character in-game is also very realistic. His character makes me wish there was an option to join his cause. On the other hand, you have Nomad who is just a dumb muscle with a dumb voice and no broad vision. The tactical bits of the game were fun to play but the ambiance of the was very poor, which makes it irritating to play. The atmosphere has no proper identity and all the sheer number of soldiers you kill (most of which are innocent) HEAVILY outweighs the number of killings done by Walker and almost makes you feel like the villain here. Then there's the microtransaction you need to pay to complete the rest of the story. In my honest opinion, I would not even recommend playing it if it was cracked. They gave a half-assed story and tried to extend it like a TV show. I went back to play Wildlands after I played Breakpoint, and Wildlands, with its 1000000 more bugs and performance issues than Breakpoint, felt more immersive and fun to play. I would stop waiting for the crack if I were you

How to make the next ghost recon game. Keep it the same as wildlands with the graphics and gameplay of breakpoint. Have 5 AI with you like an actual team. Setting should take place in the middle east. Like wildlands there were two enemies like unidad and the cartel. The new one should have 2 terrorists organizations, Russians and Turkish forces, rebel and allied forces. The map should be massive. Missions should be like outpost liberation or urban city combat with multiple factions engaging one another. Game needs to be offline with a matchmaking option for multi-player

And also I really wanna know what happened "that one time". I still don't have the answer to that.

Great video, mate. But I'd personally have to give Wildlands the edge for 'Open World' too. You have deserts, plains, farmland, jungles, swamps, forests, snowy mountains, towns, villages, and the salt flats. I think it is at least as diverse in biomes as Breakpoint if not more so. BUT, more importantly than that imo, is how it feels. It feels way more lived in, and naturalistic. Bursting with life and eventfulness that just makes traversing it a joy by itself. It's also miles ahead in immersive engagement. You can shoot out every light source, crash-vault through all the windows, blow all the bloody doors off, disguise yourself in enemy areas by using the respective vehicle types, etc. I do like Breakpoint, and hopefully in the future with some more updates, I will get to love it. Thanks for the vid.

For me: Wildlands: big map with a lot of biomes, Bolivia feels alive with civilians, cars, planes. The story is.. Ok, but the best part is that you can focus on each region, for example you can clear pucara, collect everything, do all missions and after clearing the area you can move to another area, there's no need to jump around Bolivia. The weapon system makes you want to explore everything so you can unlock better gear Unfortunately the enemy AI is stupid to the point that is not exactly fair, enemy aways know where you are even if they didn't see you. But Unidad is deadly and challenging. Ok radio station and a relatively good soundtrack. I would say Wildlands is a 8/10 game, could have a better enemy AI (the same from breakpoint for example) As for Breakpoint The map is big but.. Feels empty, no cars on the road, less civilians, the island feels empty The story is OK too and I even liked the fact that is "near future", not a "star wars" future but a couple of futuristic things... But the big problem is, the story throws you around the island, so you can't focus on a specific region And to make things worst the "weapons with level" thing makes exploring useless because you can buy better weapons and things on the store, also, if you find a weapon on a crate, that's basically yours, so no point in exploring and finding blueprints to craft them because you will aways find a better one The AI is really good on flanking, hunting you, except for the reinforcements systems that is too weak, but breakpoint has a better enemy AI, enemy's move all the time looking for cover and really search you ass. Heavys are a cool addition but the enemy AI itself is not deadly as wildlands. I really don't mind the drones and tanks, I do like shooting them, the only "new" enemy that bothers me is the predator, that is more a inconvenience than a real challenge. Also, the damage system is broken, sometimes a enemy dies with one shot while you are playing stealth and sometimes it takes 5 shots to kill while in wildlands you can kill anyone with one shot when being stealth everytime. No radio, and barely no soundtrack. Breakpoint is a 4/10 game, it has better things over wildlands but wildlands is still better. Edit: I forgot to mention, the "hurt system" from Breakpoint is stupid, and the "sliding down the mountain" is stupid too and some of the animations (being hurt, healing, reloading special bullets) locking you in place is dumb too.

Not really, in all the different branches of Santa blanca cartel it's escort, extract, interrogate, eliminate REPEAT. Not to mention it's a repeat of future soldier minus the chemistry and back and forth banter of the future soldier team(they felt like an actual unit & not like a bunch of strangers put into a team last minute). How is it a repeat of future soldier? Well, both entail the ghosts going up against an influential criminal organisation (Raven's rock druzhiñha & Santa blanca cartel) and capturing the leader(El sueño & that Russian guy on the train tracks) only to be stood down by their superiors because the leader is off limits Ghost recon breakpoint is itself a copy of Call of Duty ghosts: A ghost (Rorke & Walker) goes rouge because of a personal vendetta and shares a past with the current ghost team leader( Elias & Nomad) The gameplay loop is pretty much the same thing you see in other stealth games like MGSV Don't get me wrong, I love your videos & how you express your opinions my only problem is the samey nature of these games, try as I might I really don't see why people are praising them

To be fair the vehicle issue is only a problem on PC, I play Wildlands on Xbox One and I've never had an issue with driving... sure some cars are crappy but to be fair those are the ones that are supposed to be. The game didn't appeal to me at all like wildlands did. Correct me if im wrong in my statements since i played for only 2-3 hours.

You are correct most customization is locked behind raids which is really stupid. There were definitely some issues there and I can’t blame you for uninstalling. Thank you for sharing your honest opinion I appreciate it.
@user-dh2dy8cw4v4 жыл бұрын
The reason you lock customization options behinds raids is to extend playtime and play loop, (taught in game development classes) Wildlands does this too, but with Attachments....which affect gameplay. Its like destiny’s raids n stuff because it’s supposed to be like destiny’s raids but executed very poorly, like for example in D1 you had to do a raid in one point of the story to progress, if this was a factor for breakpoint I think it would be better, but I think it might try to improve itself from here.

I think Wildlands does Nomad better than Breakpoint. He has just enough character given to you in conversations and cutscenes that you can grow some attachment to him and still role-play/imprint yourself onto him at the same time. Breakpoint nomad is like _TOO_ blank to grow an attachment too, and because he doesn’t get any nice development moments, as a player you don’t even really want to imprint yourself onto him.

I’ve easily put 1500 hours in wildlands and can easily say it was one of the most underrated games I’ve played. Considering how excited I was for Breakpoint to come out and fix some issues that Wildlands had suffered, I had little expectations. When I barley hit my 50th hour in Breakpoint, I was greatly disappointed because they had lost that spark that had made Wildlands special. I understand games have glitches and such but I believe when you develop a sequel to a game, that you add better weapons and such. After learning that Ubisoft put in the “Shoot to Loot “ I became uninterested immediately because I saw the pay walls that stopped me from playing that game. In my opinion, I wish I could get my money back from Breakpoint because the community on it is toxic, it’s hard to find a good solid team, and the gameplay itself isn’t something I can find interesting nor exciting. Even the map of Breakpoint makes little to no sense on how and why it is and where it’s at. All in all, Wildlands in my opinion easily scores a 9/10 on my list while Breakpoint is at 6/10. I hope in the future they remaster Wildlands because I will easily spend $60 again. Thank you all for reading and stay safe out there and keep on gaming!

what about pvp mode? the fact that breakpoint removed the character classes, and now turned anyone into a mini rambo?

I remember in WL that the drugs are expanding in Asia, meaning that it could start another Wildlands-style game where the Asian variant of Los Estranjeros (forgot how to type it) could be in some bigger Unidad-style bases. Maybe this time we will be in the government's grace since they are not that capable tech wise and Rebels would be our enemies this time around. I could imagine that instead of El Sueño, we could get 3 main bosses called the "Trifacto" or something. Maybe Triads? Or El Sueño's brother or cousins? And they also revealed all possible Wildlands-style sequels: Africa, Europe, and Asia as the key places where the Santa Blanca Cartel previously sent alot of coca to (I just saw it in Bowman's briefing)

I got breakpoint a while back and I enjoy it but the story is a bit all over the place and kinda unrealistic. Might just get Wildlands when I'm finished since it seems more story rich.

Following last weeks update on Breakpoint, they added AI teammates and have a mission that grants access to a missile strike similar to the rebel mortars in Wildlands. I would suggest either doing something like an updated video or something to compensate for the updates and patches.

Already planning on it but thank you for the suggestion :)

They added teammates now but that still doesnt change the fact they don't act like operators. Both Wildlands and break point need a "keep tight" option so my teammates aren't sitting outside the base waiting orders and stack up when your infiltrating.

I feel like wildlands is alive island with people driving car around the road and walking down the street but in breakpoint there's none of it walkin it's like a ghost island with absolutely nothing feel so empty on the island. So I prefer wildlands.

I definitely agree and my opinion changed after this video. Auroa is so dull while Bolivia is brimming with life and immersion, civilians driving and walking, to even car radios it’s just all done with so much more detail and care.
@svenk52213 жыл бұрын
I played Breakpoint first and liked it. Especially the immersive mode that has been added later. Than I got Wildlands in a sale and I thought this game felt like a true sequel. Much better Storytelling. Improved gameplay with more skills and possibilities to play the game. Also more condens believable world. Especially with adding civilians to the game that make the world much more believable. So I like wildlands more too. But both games are great

I only have one problem, why are you hating on Breakpoint so much? It literally came out less than a year ago, I like them both equally, but why are you hating on it, its was supposed to be the hunter becomes the hunted, and you say it's more difficult to stealth, but you can just camouflage in the ground. It seems to you are more bias towards wildlands.
@masterassassin7914 жыл бұрын
I’m not being a hater I am being honest. I’m not going to be like IGN and sugar coat and say the game is good just so people will agree with me. In fact IGN even have this game a poor score so that’s how you know it’s not a good game. Wildlands is by no means perfect but just looking at the facts you can tell it’s a better game, it’s not being biased.

How is he being bias when breakpoint was overall seen as a shit game which it pretty much was. Them drip feeding content that should've been there from the beginning is not something to commend

Bro you ever try to take out a base that is surrounded by nothing but rocks? You can’t prone camo, and when the drones see a dead body you have to hide for like five minutes, and sometimes you can’t really hide because you are already in the middle of the base.

I got Wildlands after breakpoint came out (My uncle gave it to me as a hand-me-down) and I hadn't even been remotely interested in Tom Clancy at all at the time. Been just more than a year now and Wildlands is my fav game and I could spend hours listing off what I love about it

I've played every Ghost Recon, the whole brand. I actually prefer breakpoint than widlands. Btw breakpoint is just new and the dev are actually doing great choices for the rest of the game. So for me breakpoint is clearly better
@masterassassin7914 жыл бұрын
I disagree since the game has needed like 10+ updates just to have some of the same features Wildlands had at launch like AI teammates, but I respect your opinion nonetheless

Thanks for the input, I was gonna buy Breakpoint but watching your video has peaked my interest back into Wildlands which I already own and have not finished yet. Sure it has some issues but in my opinion there's no such thing as the perfect game. Thanks again
@JumpingJack62 жыл бұрын
Get breakpoint on sale, it is not a bad game. Wildlands is just better. For me Breakpoint was too far removed from what a GR game should be, if it were the beginning of a new franchise advertised as a looter/shooter with tactical elements I would likely have a better opinion of it since my expectation would have been different.
