Sure, slytherin has produced some bad wizards, but Merlin, the greatest wizard of all time was a slytherin. Slytherin's key trait is ambition, which means that some of the members will be jerks, but there are plenty of ambitious people who are able to achieve their goals without hurting other people. Of the founders of ravenclaw, Salazar and Godric were the most alike. Sure, slytherin students used to be against muggle born wizards, but these days, that's just a stereotype as many members of slyethrin have muggle parents. Of all of the houses, I think its the most misunderstood. And, if you really think about it, as far as kindness goes, slytherin might be better than ravenclaw, as ravenclaws are always competing and back - stabbing others in order to get top marks.

In my defence, I’m not a backstabber (Ravenclaw) I’d rather just have fun and fail trying my best, than make it to the top with no one. As for Slytherin, I agree it gets a bad rep. It’s a great house, with a lot of really awesome people. Saying someone is bad just cos they’re a Slytherin is like saying someone is bad just because they’re German. People can be good even if where they come from/belong hasn’t got the best reputation, after all.

What's wrong with Slytherin every house has their fair share of evil wizards and I'm a Slytherin but most people realize that just by knowing me like my primary school friends and high school classmates that know of Hogwarts and all and I've met atleast two people from each house except from Slytherin because I'm the only Slytherin! Slytherins a great house and are probably the most calmest house they deserve respect!!
