None as hot as the homemade set up on the chute going on to the scales at my family’s place of business when I was growing up and until about 25yrs old a local Stockyard aka Salebarn aka Livestock Auction. My dad made it to save money on batteries and replacement sticks for hotshots. It was an electric fence charger running thru cables that hung above the men running the slide gates along the chute. Then took hickory walking canes and insulated heavy gauge wire that had a hook that slid along the hot exposed wire above then down one side of the cane to a terminal exposing the wire at the end of the canes. I’d be on the scales and have to tell those old men “All right now boys they’re gonna smell that hair burning in the auction ring and come out here complaining”. “Back off a little on the shocking”. That was a basic manual labor job that besides the finer details of how to keep the cattle moving and not trying to turn around etc .. I could have someone doing good enough in a few minutes but we never put inexperienced people on those positions if one of our loyal older gentleman who worked there until we sold it and beyond had to miss a sale day. It was because that shocking system could totally be overused and actually cause the cattle distress but at the same time get a feeder calf who’s wild as a mountain lion and caused itself to get upside down in the chute motivated to help me or someone get it back on its feet. The chute also had built in removable wedges that we raised for big killing cows , bulls, and bred cattle just going thru that chute into the sale ring. As soon as we swapped over to feeders I’d climb up and release winches that lowered them down and use big long bolts to hold them in place. Aww the stockyard. Anyone wanna loan me at least a few million maybe 5??

That first Guy (Cameron, I think) that You tested those cattle prods on, when You put those prods on either side of the Guy's head, a random intrusive thought came into my mind. The thought: Touch the Guy's neck, just below the hairline, with both prods and push the button on both. What would that do? I'm wondering if there is something WRONG with me thinking up shit like that but, I seem to have a bit of a mischievous understanding of Scientific procedure. OBVIOUSLY if zapping the Guy like that could cause serious injury, I wouldn't want it done. Just because I admitted the intrusive thought, does NOT mean that I would do whatever the thought involves, and I certainly would not want to see someone else do it. I am not some horrible monster.
