@patrykwie2938 yeah, but i would have only gotten about a year out of it. Like i did the first year i was in the industry, also like several of my coworkers did. They get about a year out of the Milwaukee impacts. Plus, my 4ah battery rakes about 30min to charge, 1.5ah takes 15mins. Thats plenty fast, 3 batteries and you always have power. The 4ah batteries last most of the day unless im dogging it with 3in lags into dense wood or something.

@joyfuflower 9 ай бұрын
Just in case I understood that right, do not use a torque wrench as a breaker bar. If you do, do not trust it as a torque wrench afterwards. Breaker bars should be either one piece or have one very strong swivel joint. No ratchet, especially no finely calibrated mechanism. Besides if you already have a 1/4" impact driver, you can use the breaker bar to get it loose then the driver to wizz it off, saves a bunch of time and needs less space.

We have busted a ton of 1/4 adapters at work(milwaukee no less) and a lot of M6 hex bits that weren't impact rated. Mostly because they are already overbuilt for the 1/4 inch socket. Impact wrench for the win and it also shortens the tool without the extra 1 1/2inches added from using an adapter.

every Christmas time I told my kids “don’t buy me anything that requires a battery” The reason is, I’m retired and I don’t use things enough to justify keeping the batteries charged. I have 1 18 V drill/driver battery operated. I do keep that charged. But for everything else, I want something that plugs into the wall. And if I’m not around a receptacle, my ram pick up has 120 V outlet, and I have a 1400 W craftsman gas powered generator that I’ve had for over 30 years for those really far out places like if I’m going to be cutting up a tree that fell with my electric chainsaw… besides, I always torque my Lugnuts with a torque wrench. Over tightening Lugnuts is the number one cause of brake rotors warping..

@@plopss they all can because you could bust the nut manually and then zip off the remaining part of the thread with ANY drill or driver. You still need an adapter for that impact driver. No socket just mounts to those drivers except the bosch and it doesn't have the umpph, unless you use the big wrench that comes with your vehicle to break the nut initially.

If you’re on a budget, Hercules hcb81 will remove lugs comes with fast charger and 2ah and free 4ah batt coupon for around $90. @@MasteringMayhemfrom what I was able to see the Ryobi battery you used is the problem. Funny enough you posted a picture of every other unit with battery but the Ryobi is without battery in picture and it also looks like you covered up the battery at every opportunity. The Ryobi HP line is intended to be used with the HP batteries and for best performance the 6 AH+. The 4 AH also does really good but again it must be used with the HP batteries not regular lithium. I have that Ryobi and I am able to remove lug nuts easily from car and work truck.

@@brandonkelbe no that is an impact driver, an impact wrench is made with a 3/8 or higher square bit, not the 1/4 hex bit. They also are substantially stronger. Or just use the bar that comes for manually taking off the lugs to crack them and any drill or impact can zip them off. This is a misleading video

I'm very happy with my DeWalt XR Max. Once you get to 1600 inch pounds, you can easily break most screws. I've drilled out hundreds of hinge screws because newbies lack finger control, and just hit full power to seat the screws, and twist the head right off. We started giving newbies 9v or 12v impacts until they show they can use one properly. I'm fine with loosening my lugnuts with a tire iron, even if the DeWalt can easily do it.

Just a sidenote for Ryobi, I got that exact same latest HP Impact driver (≠Impact Wrench btw…) that thing blew off so many lug nuts already, that I I have heavy doubts that you actually used the Batteries that Ryobi made exactly for those HP-Line of Tools. This is even stated in their user manual, explaining that those Tools will never unlock their full potential unless driven by their High-Performance Battery packs, which have two signature contact-pins on their backside. I‘m an electrical engineer and opened both cells (standard & HP) as I wanted to see whether it was just some marketing bs again. To my surprise, they truly used higher capacity cells, with a newer battery chemistry, and a row of other differences, leading to a significantly higher peak current for a longer duration. Please at least try it in a fair way (same Capacity and using each device’s generation battery-packs as suggested).
