I’be been on my Xs Max for 2 years and with all the gaming I’ve put it through, drops, water submerged, and it still works. No cracks either but I’ve recently stopped using a screen protector and case.

@@lychiie3229 honestly The only thing I can tell from my first 1000 dollar pound is that is works no matter what and the experience is good. Xs Max user 2 years so far and the thing doesn’t slow down but battery is only 5-6 hours with heavy use.

This review is so comprehensive, efficient and informative, no other channel should bother producing another one. I am a pilot and the only reason I even own an iPad is to run backup GPS Navigation and aviation data apps during flight. But I always carry 2 so the expense is considerable. This especially when specialized mounts, cooling and charging accessories are considered. You just made me realize the mini series that I have always used just due to its smaller size has lesser performance. I will be seriously considering today whether the Pro can be accommodated in my flight deck. Thank you.

Why i bought the ipad mini 1. Almost perfect size for reading ebooks and mags. Highest ppi for close reading. 2. Weighs half of all other ipads. So can hold much comfy for longer times @ bedtime reading. 3. Laminated screen for less reflective display. It makes a lot of difference. 4. Comfortable to hold in one hand for long hours due to smaller size. 5. Superb color for comics and videos. 6. Very portable. 7. Buy the mini now before the refresh if you want a headphone jack on your ipad. Refreshed mini is definitely mostly not going to have one.

While my iPad Mini still works just fine, I am considering using Apple Trade In and getting the iPad Air 4?? I’m not sure though. The only thing I don't really dig is the lack of storage on the version I got. The only recommendation I have is if you're going for the budget ipad is to go for the higher storage model if you can afford it. :)

Got the iPad Pro 11-inch last week alongside with the 2nd gen Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard, replacing my iPad Air 2. Initially, the Magic Keyboard was in British English because I had a fear that the words that I type would become US English if I used the US English version but I was wrong, eventually I replaced the British English version to the US English version of the Magic Keyboard. Since then, I’ve been enjoying my new iPad Pro that I’ve upgraded from the iPad Air 2.

this is by far the BEST comparison video of all current iPad lineup I've seen around like. BY FAR! but there is one thing I would LOVE to see mentioned when people do these comparisons... Yes all you pointed up is 100% accurate on who should buy each of these tablets but people always miss the following fact: IF you are an artist or do precise /photo editing/ 3D modeling/ video editing/ Concept art or any visual development work. 100% go for the pro because you're now able to edit video on 120 frames natively, you're able to draw with the smoothest most accurate feeling non of the other tablets will give you and you can go farther with files layers and exportation tasks. thanks to that 6 GB of ram,, Basically if you are already a PROfessional in your area. a PRO tool is meant to fill those needs. the main reason I updated my 2015 12.9 inch iPad Pro to the current 2020 iPad pro was that once I tried the 120 Hz drawing experience I realized how MUCH I was missing from keeping my old pro, and I have to say. that iPad lasted me 5 YEARS and was still amazing, these machines are TOTALLY LAPTOP killers and for some people, EVEN desktop killers since as a MacBook pro-2017 owner I can tell I'm considering selling it just because the iPad is better in most of the tasks I need it, At least in my case is never going to replace my 2020 5k Imac with my Wacom Cintiq, but the experience out of the iPad gets CLOSE! like Surprisingly close. and we are talking about a $2k iMac + $650 drawing tablet against my $750, 11" iPad pro + $125 pencil. so while traveling I rarely miss my desktop setup cause the iPad pro is there to pull out all the pro needed work. lastly, as a concept artist lidar helps A LOT on comic development since you're able to SCAN>MAP spaces to place em as a background guideline that optimizes the process extremely well!

@@James-tw3hy - the rumor mill is projecting 1st quarter 2021 (March). I would definitely hold out for the next 2 months until more info becomes available! If the next iPad Pro sports an A14X chip + micro LED then it will be a noticeable upgrade to the current device! You would be crazy to purchase a A12 powered device at the end of it’s life cycle (3yr old processor), unless you are getting it for a serious discount or you’re the type that upgrades every two years!

I have the Air4 and it charges relatively quickly from below 20% (1-2 hours, maybe for full charge). It has fast charging capability so you can very quickly get enough juice for immediate tasks and if you add the Magic Keyboard then you can use the passthrough charging port for even more convenience. The one thing I wish the Magic Keyboard had is the ability to use the charging port for peripherals. It would be really convenient to use it like a docking station.

The Mini is so under-appreciated. I've only had Minis since they came out. In fact, when the first iPads came out, I was championing for tablet in the Mini's size. With version 5, you have the same premium quality display as the Air and Pro, but in a super lightweight and easy to hold format. I'm a proofreader who annotates PDFs all day long. The Mini is perfect for that function -- there's no fatigue the way that my peers using Airs and Pros report. The small form factor is so portable as well. I was travelling last March before lockdown and loved that I could put this small and lightweight tablet in a purse that in no way looked like it was holding such a pricey device. Sure I'd sometimes like more screen space when I'm doing bookkeeping and admin tasks, but it's not much of a hardship to use my phone as a second display. I'm happy to hear the rumours about a 6 coming out. I bought the 5 on release day here in Mexico, so if and when a 6 comes out, I'll be due for an upgrade. I came to this video to see if the "budget iPad" would be a good buy to get that extra screen space I'm lacking (ie. be my admin tasks tablet), but I'm so used to the laminated display that I'm sure I'll regret the purchase.

I also use it for drawing on procreate and I don't mind with the less smooth screen because I don't realise it, I say only get the pro if you want it for a laptop replacement (but I would wait for the new pro to come out this year for that) or for heavy heavy use (I'm talking like 6+ hours a day)

I just got the Air at 64GB because I believe that is the price point where it makes the most sense. I also have 2TB of cloud storage so I think I can manage with the smaller onboard capacity. I won’t be seriously gaming on it or really working on it beyond note taking and light sketching. I debated getting the 256 many times but I know that is far more than I actually need. My phone has 256 and I’m using 50 of it since my photos are now in the cloud. I also feel pretty strongly, especially seeing the A14 performance, that buying the Pro at this point is not wise. The current model will be a great value when the new one releases in 4-6 months since I assume it will drop in price. Or you’ll be able to spend the same money as now for the newer tech. To me the Pro is as much in limbo as the Mini for that reason. A younger me would have shelled out for the coolest/best tech but sometimes it is better to work with what you need vs what you want bc let’s face it our wants will always result in spending the most money possible. Hopefully this is the right decision. Let me know if you have any thoughts - I guess I technically have 30 days to return it....

120hz is actually a huge deal imho. I think that because it’s a bigger screen, if you use a Pro for a week, then go back to your old iPad, you will never unsee the choppiness of framerate. It’s like a massive negative reinforcement every time I flick the screen of a non-Pro iPad, to be punished with choppiness and blurry text and images. I think it should be 240hz there’s still room for improvement.

@@LeesReviews69 I agree. I use 10.5 pro since 2017. I could not be happy with any 60hz iPad including Air 4. However first time buyers and upgraders from regular iPads don’t have this experience. Thus, they will be satisfied with Air 4. Pro users should upgrade to the new pro models in my opinion.

Guys it's just individual perception. There's people thinking they could die going back to a 60hz display, others that don't even realize one single improvement in trying a 120hz display. I personally use both types of display in my ordinary experience and while I think the 120hz feature is a nice improvement I still think it's generally overrated and there's a lot of more important stuff to consider. For me, the overall display quality, the raw hardware performance, cameras and sound are way more important than the refresh rate.

Meaning no offense... as someone with a MA in English Technical Communication, whoever writes their scripts needs to learn to be less objective/bias. Their tone comes off very condescending. It’s not about *you* and what *you* like. Take into consideration that everyone who watches this channel has different needs. I’m thinking between iPad Air 2020 and iPad Pro 2018 12.9 inches and I can’t decide because one seems a tad too small and the other seems too big to hold casually, and I’m an artist and a digital designer who tends to work while half sitting half laying on a bed. I’m also tempted to get the pro one for the 120hz refresh rate, but I also heard that it’s not significant when it comes to drawing. The perfect solution here might be the 11 inches pro version but in my situation it isn’t an option. Does anyone know how uncomfortable it is to use the 12.9 one in bed or anywhere other than on a desk?

Ipad mini 5 was on sale for 349. For me it’s a better deal than the budget ipad. The laminated display is also a big difference along with true tone and P3. The only bummer is the 12W charger.

I haven't had an iPad since it first came out. But the Air 4 is a gorgeous piece of technology. The A14 is the latest and greatest that will last for years to come. Gaming is smooth as butter. Carrying it around feels like a feather. Holding the flat edges feels like an expensive portal to the internet world.

Think this way: If we add apple pencil Ipad air 4 costs around 700$ Ipad pro 2020 costs around 900$. So we have a 200$ difference for Better Square Camera module and 120hz refresh rate. (Rest things are almost same like performance and design): yeah I know about quad speakers, but it hardly matters since duo speakers are good enough.

I AM Early! Vadim we know that silicon Macs are going to be powerful but A14 is easily comparable to i5 10 and even i7 10th gen processor, why don't you compare them...
