i always prefer bmc and dna non-race filters, as they filter better than stock, but have much better dirt filtration than sprint filters. I'm not a fan off wearing my pistons and valves for a couple of hp.

Just because it has a larger surface area doesn't automatically mean your getting more air. There are other factors to consider.
