Beautiful gardens and flowers aand the views are breath taking. As for me both are worth seeing spending time in natural. Pigeons is what i would say they are . I wish to thank you as always for again showing another couple of places to check out out and away from cebu city. wander safe you both and i look forward to your next vedio

Dove is for white & Pigeon is for colored species
@WeWander3 жыл бұрын
I totally agree
@lionhearted19693 жыл бұрын
I think it doesn't have to do with colors. I think the names have to do with size of mature birds where pigeons are smaller in size than doves. I noticed in places where I went to, doves come in a variety of colors where one flock of dozens of birds come in a variety of colors, from plain white to bi-color and even tri-colkr and they live in the same cote. Dove is definitely a different species from pigeon and to tell them apart is from its size.

The Cebuano for dove is salampati. Very similar to Bahasa Indonesia's merpati and Tagalog's kalapati. The Cebuano term for wild dove is alimukon and Cebuano for the wild pigeon is korokotok. Korokotok is actually an onomatopoeia because the bird seems to make such a call or sound.
@originalsigbin32063 жыл бұрын
both places are amazing and instagram-able specially if you have izai as a model. 😍😍😍 but if i were to choose one i'd go for the first original little amsterdam! and according to google there is no difference between a pigeon and a dove so i guess you can call them either way!😁

Hi guys! I'm surprised there are two gardens. I think they're both beautiful. I guess visit whichever you're in the mood for. It's the mountain views that make the place so picturesque I think. Yah! Take care of your new drone. Don't want it taken down by a bunch of Angry Birds. Lol! And they're not doves or pigeons. They're pig-eee-yons, remember? Lol! See ya! 👋😉

Those are pigeons as they have grey feathers. A dove has all-white feathers as in the ones released by Noah after the great flood or as depicted in the Holy Trinity.
@lionhearted19693 жыл бұрын
Maybe not. Because doves come in a variety of colors. I saw a lot of times a flock of doves in a variety of colors, from all white to bi-colors to tri-colors. I think the most distinguishing factor to tell the two apart is their size as adult birds. For me, dove has a much bigger body than a pigeon. I may be wrong. But certainly not the colors.
@WeWander3 жыл бұрын
Thats what i thought too, but from what i read apparently doves and pigeons are basically the same things. I had no idea
@shergonz833 жыл бұрын
We are used to calling them doves hehe...but I think you’re right they are pigeons 😄
@andywild763 жыл бұрын
I'd visit both. Sorry, Izai but those are definitely pigeons. HOWEVER, doves and pigeons are part of the same family so they'll have some common traits! P..S. that's 2 vlogs in a row where you haven't had the section at the end where you respond to comments! What's going on? ;-)
@WeWander3 жыл бұрын
Oh sorry, i said in the comments of the last video that i am testing taking that part out to see if it helps with retention on the videos. I may bring it back
@andywild763 жыл бұрын
@@WeWander can't see how NOT having the section at the end where you respond to comments would increase the retention in your subscriber numbers. If people don't want to watch that part they can just stop watching. I doubt they would unsubscribe. Anyway, I for one would vote to bring it back!
@WeWander3 жыл бұрын
@@andywild76 haha that is exactly the problem. When people stop watching the video before the end it drops the retention. It has nothing to do with subs. I can look at the graph and it shows when the comment part starts that like 80% of viewers close the video, and that is a huge red flag to KZbin. They want higher retention percentage or else they will not promote the video
@andywild763 жыл бұрын
@@WeWander ok understood. Do you actually need promotion though? I think people who want to travel the Philippines will find your content just by searching for the right key words.

Problem is that they dont tell about pictorial garden. So people just end up at the first garden and wont go down the 500m to Little Amsterdam. Its one of the problems of toutism in the Philippines that they just dont care about setting up enough signs to tourists spots
@WeWander3 жыл бұрын
This is true that a lot of people miss it, BUT there were TONS of signs set up saying to drive past the first garden to get to the second, its the only reason we even found the second one at all. We only went there to go to the pictorial garden
@lionhearted19693 жыл бұрын
The second garden (if you come from southern route) called Sirao Flower Farm is the original one, also known as Little Amsterdam. The newer one is the Sirao Pictorial Garden and Camp Site. They share borders actually. But I think in terms of beautiful garden setting and more picturesque, Florentino's Eco Park and Buwakan ni Alejandra beat them both.
