Cebu's MAGICAL Sirao Garden or "Little Amsterdam" and the TEMPLE OF LEAH!

Little Amsterdam was beautiful. It was fun to see all of the photo spots: the giant, golden hand, the windmill, the LOVE sign, the heart, and much more. The views of the green valley below was breathtaking. The kids had fun climbing and discovering everything. Grace loved being a cute little bird.
Then, we were off to The Temple of Leah. It was beautiful and ornate and had another amazing view of the valley below. It was cute to have Grace talk about how she was sad because Jesus died. Mom has a precious conversation with her. Grace is such a sweetie!
This was part of the Cebu City tour that we took. We booked with Cebu Tours. We were very happy with the tour and it was the best priced Cebu tour!

The Temple of Leah, a beautiful Roman-inspired architectural shrine that is also known as the Taj Mahal of Cebu. It's home to the treasures and memorabilia of the late Leah Albino Adarna, the grandmother of Filipina actress Ellen Adarna. The Temple of Leah is one of the must-visit attractions in Cebu. It has been attracting foreign and local tourists for its stunning architectural style and overlooking view of Cebu City. This 7-story mansion has 24 chambers housing a library, bar, museum, and gallery. There are two large golden statues of lions stand guards on both sides of the main stairs leading into the temple. Roman gladiators and a bunch of life-sized statues of angels adorn the corners and different parts of the building. It is built as a symbol of the undying love and never-ending devotion of Teodorico Adarna to his wife Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. Mr. Adarna shared that he constructed this temple in the year 2012 A.D. as a symbol of his undying love for and ceaseless devotion to her wife. He also added that he adopted an architectural design that can withstand time and still be appreciated for a millennium so this temple will become a landmark of Cebu, where future generations of the Adarna clan ...can come and trace their roots and heritage. Teodorico reportedly spent more than 80 million pesos to put up this temple as a symbol of his undying love for Leah.

Guys you should try north especially bantayan. Balidbid Lagoon, Virgin Island, Santa Fe and more. Better to go there during weekdays.

i was actually part of the design team who helped design the landscape of sirao ( im not bragging but just sharing ).. sirao before was just simply a flower garden for celosias flowers. .. but the owner decided to upgrade it so the owner asked help from an architectural firm based in cebu.. that time i was taking my OJT for that company..my task was to design the Cafe and restaurant.. but looking at sirao now, it seems that the design was not really followed, coz i remember the head planner of the ladnscape actually wanted to have a manmade waterfalls and fountains and also koi ponds... NO windmill..and the plan was actually to put a big santo Niño statue . or built Station of the Cross...and/or a potential Mama Mary Groto.. also , the possbility of putting some live rabbits and rabbit holes.., and bird cages for parrots and lovebirds... and peacocks..and also the flower tunnel using a De La Guardia Vine flower that is common in cebu.. and the terraces will be planted with Roses and also the Iconic celosias flowers.. and even tulips...the soil flooring will be covered with stone bricks..and the edge of the garden will be planted with Narra and pine trees and protect the flowers from strong winds especially during typhoons. but i think majority of the plan was not followed.. the cafe is not the cafe i helped design with... or maybe , after i left the company and finished my ojt.. they made a revision..or maybe they had to cut out some part of the plan to save money for development and construction.. but anways, i visited sirao a couple of times already and its wonderful.. and i hope they will expand it..

14:45 Grace was sad and was affected seeing the statue of Jesus nailed on the cross from the previous visit in South of Cebu church. She thought He died but good mom explained He resurrected and alive in heaven for now. He will join the believers and rule the world in future millennium to come. At that young age, she’s pretty aware of Jesus. ❤️
