the downside of j1 is that it has a 2 year foreign residence requirement after completion and you need a waiver u.u or else you have to go back to your country in case you want to continue working in US

j1 for 3-5years lang, makawork ang asawa. pero yung h1b ay for 5-10 years or greencard na;ngunit ang asawa ay hindi makawork
