Bundles and promo packs rarely seem worth it. Maybe if you really like the set and want the extras, but you're not likely to hit big. On the other hand, if there's a promo card that has value it can be a game changer. I got a promo Vorinclex (spelling) from some Kaldheim pre release packs and covered 60% of the total purchase. ( got prerelease packs because 5 was cheaper for the same number of cards as a set box + getting 5 promo cards.

In most of the cases the value is very low, I started to buy march of the machine collector just to see if I can pull a serialized card.

At least in terms of card value, the LOTR bundles seems to have higher chances of getting better pulls.
