Your reaction was superb! If it’s any consolation, the questions can be interpreted in numerous ways and retaking it gives a multitude of outcomes. For instance, it asks you to choose a hobby- now is that a hobby you wish you were proficient in, or did the most, or are trying to improve. The movie question is arbitrary because it assumes one watches movies or chick flicks or even English language movies. And the holiday one: is it asking where you’ve been or want to go? And not many options plus it doesn’t specify if you are staying in a resort or in the local area or the tourist trap area or the suburbs. Anyway, I hope you recovered from your cold (I’m new, only discovered you yesterday). And it’s funny it doesn’t give any male characters or middles aged ones! It’s like it (rightly presumes) the quiz takers are young, single, females.

I got Elizabeth Bennet with my "first" choices, but I'm more like Catherine Mooreland which were my second choices. I love to read and observe people like Lizzy, but I'm not very self-confident or witty. I do have a wild imagination and love to dream, so I am more like Catherine. I also must say that I've always felt like Elenore Dashwood because I feel like I've had to be practical and take care of everyone around me.

I am so sorry! A thousand condolences. I too would be horrified to be Fanny Price. I'm sure the quiz isn't 100% accurate (+/- 5%) or completely based on Science, as I am Jane Bennet & as you know she is far too nice for me. She'd probably like Fanny (or at least make some mollifying comments regarding her). Great video! You're really putting the fun in Jane Austen July.

I really think there's a connection between my general dislike of movies and my face blindness. Especially with period films, it gets annoying having to ask the person next to me who this is and who that is because they all look the same in a bonnet (and it must be even more annoying for the person I'm asking to identify people every five minutes :P )

Well I got Jane Bennet. Not sure how I feel about it, for she was a bit too quiet. Bingley would never be my taste in a man--too cute. I like the ruggedly handsome guy, who wears Timberland boots (LOL), Then I retook the quiz because one of the questions I am given to two thoughts, so when I re-answered the question where I wrestle with the two possible choices, it came up Elizabeth Bennet. I like a man who is both kind and believes in equality. (and wears Timberland boots).

In any case, check out fellow UTube Jane Austen Analyst Dr Octavia Cox's take on Fanny, and you'll see she's actually no wimp. By the way, I think your English accent sounds super close to native Brit. You're lucky to have a foot placed solidly on both sides of the Channel. Best of both worlds.
