Hey man, your videos are good for entertainment but quite wrong for correct depiction. Levi's doesn't make all 511s in this composition. You can find them in 100% cotton as well. Their price vary as well. Similarly, Uniqlo also has slim jeans in different compositions. Find the same price ones, different price ones and compare them separately. Also sizes for Uniqlo vary with area. Prices also vary with area. Add disclaimer in the beginning that these are not real comparisons, and are made for entertainment purposes.

For today's levis i agree, the quality really bad now... I have 2 jeans of 511 from 5 years apart and they are different... Really disappointed with levis today

@@peeyush306 After some research, it looks like if you buy jeans directly from Levi's website or store, you will get better material. If you buy from Amazon or big box stores like Macy's or Kohls, then the material tend to be worse, which explains lower quality 511 I have in the video. Thanks for the suggestion!

I love the Levi's because most of the pockets are deep and more spacious than Uniqlo but I love bot those brands and i tried both of those but i preferred Levi's because of the pocket

When shopping for denim, levis, lee and wrangler is my way to go and those big 3 is really sustainable brands... I only rarely shop for any fast fashion brands last time I visited H&M is like 4 years ago and whenever I shop for fast fashion brands Uniqlo, Zara and Gap is the first thing I visit. They have a good quality compared to their competitors.

I’ve been wearing Jean since 1974, I wore Levi’s and LEE but I prefer Levi’s, Premium and Japanese ,because the more you wear it became more comfortable and nice, I’ve tried Uniqlo, the construction are superb, but after a wash it not so nice anymore, ps I rarely wash my jeans

The 511 I bought last 5 years ago is 98% cotton and 2% elastane and it constricts my crotch after few washes.

Compare to basic classic Levi I am not surprise the results at all. Can't beat the uniquo's value for money. How about next time Compare to Levi's Premium range 511 instead( not the LMC or LVC). By the way how is the colour change from this uniquo's jean after these months?

Hey basic 511 (99%cotton 1%Spendex) is cheaper than polyester mix (Levis Flex, Levis Cool) i buy basic 511 at SGD $25 when 70% off But i like 511 cool (Polyester mix jeans) more that is most comfortable jeans i have for warm weather

You should compare the Levis Selvedge 511 vs the UNIQLO Selvedge Slim Stretch, that would be fare. Also compare Indigo with Indigo. Black jeans are typically not the same. That is the comparison I was searching for when I found this. Thanks for your videos.

Hey I have a question for you, do you wash your Levi’s brand new before wearing in the darker colors. I bought 2 pairs on in black and one in indigo and they have tags on them saying the dye might rub off. I’ve had this happen years ago to some of my Chelsea boots, how can I prevent this ? And do you do anything to combat this ? And have you ever had the dye rub off yourself ?

Yea this happens to me all the time and it bugs me the most especially if i have new shoes. The trick is to throw your jeans in the washer with a cup of vinegar. The vinegar will help set the dye. Give it a shot and let me know how it goes.

For the price, Uniqlo jeans are a good value. The price equivalent Levi's are made of thin, lightweight denim. Levi's are skating by on name recognition and history.
