Sir Compare between IES versus Tsgenco in salary Tsgenco AE basic pay ( 64, 295/- ) IES AEE basic pay ( 56,100) Tsgenco ADE basic pay ( 75,805 ) IES EE ( no DEE post ) basic pay ( 67,700/- ) But from IES ( SE post ) basic pay is 1,23,000/- In ts genco ( CE post ) basic pay is 1,10,855 /-.... IES starting low basic pay compare to ts genco. But after get SE Post in IES high pay scale compare to ts genco CE post.

you missed one big thing. pay revision is 5 years in state govt. 10 years in central govt. this is the actual reason for having high salary here Also check the time taken for this promotions. many become SE near to retirement in current batch :)

AE, AEE and manager comes under other state GOVT jobs. it changes from dept to dept. mostly site works and political pressures also will be there. Every other job you remember with recruting body. only state GOVT you remember as AE , AEE. Even a IES is AEE.

Sir, I am a degree holder and currently working as JE under state govt. but i am not interested in this file works and all. I want more cause my knowledge also fades as the year passes. I've been working for 2 years and this year i am thinking of gate. But with this condition of my work its very difficult to prepare. I am about to apply for gate 2018 but i was not hoping for it without miracles to happen. So my question is sir, is it worth a try for mtech without Gate or i will struggle in mtech and not able to finish it with good marks..?Or i will still have time to refresh my memories and learn new things..? I am 27years old now.. so i think i need it this year if i was to do it.

Sabeer shaik Initial investment will be very high if you recruit any faculty. GATE faculty are very costly. For e learning initial investment will be more than 10 lakhs excluding faculty cost. For classroom coaching infrastructure cost and rents will be more. E learning needs technical support. Classroom coaching needs human support. so overall you need to be stable to invest around 15 lakhs without expecting profit. Based on the fee you collect the loss will be increasing per month. so many are choosing youtube channel without investing much.

once you undergo required training to selected field 'site engineer/design/estimation mostly they are handled by some consultancies for freshers. employees working in some MNC also get oppurtunity through them which is actually safest way to go. through MS is a easy and expense option
