I wouldn't say Artemis 'bullied' any of the other members, especially Wally. I think it was actually quite the opposite. She was sarcastic and scathing towards him, but her occasional jabs and insults had little to no real negative effect on him. Besides, most of it was harmless banter, at least on her part. Wally was far more insulting and offensive towards her, straight up calling her out on her insecurity in front of the team, blaming her entirely for Red Arrow leaving the team and actually making her AFRAID to open up to the team about who she really was. That cuts WAY deeper, and its clear just how much his reaction hurt her in 'Insecurity'. In his defense, some of his feelings were justified considering that Artemis was already hesitant to reveal her secrets, so he only reacted based off what limited knowledge he had on her. Still, it was HIS change in attitude which sparked their relationship. Artemis never truly disliked Wally; even in her first scene ever, her comments are straight banter, and can even be considered borderline flirtatious. Wally, on the other hand, CLEARLY disliked her for the first few episodes after her introduction. He grew to tolerate her, eventually becoming friends with her and then deciding to take it to the next level. It was all him, really. She was just waiting for him to realize. Her opinion of him obviously changed as well, but that's forgetting the fact that she never would've had any feelings of animosity towards him if it wasn't for his initially bad reaction upon meeting her, ESPECIALLY considering that what she said was completely harmless.

To give a short summary, the rings of compassion do not choose those with great compassion, but those who lack compassion. They force compassion onto those they choose. Miss Martian, or M'gann, seemingly has a lack of compassion and so she would much better be fit into the Indigo Tribe.

It makes no sense at all. To be a yellow ring bearer, you have to not only be scary, but cultivate it in others on a constant basis. You have to go out of your way to find the fears of others and not "simply expose" that fear, but revel in it. No M'Gann is not yellow she's Violet. her "scariness" is based in Love. She's only ever Violently scary when she's pissed. And she's only ever pissed when you hurt her loved ones. That being said, Her mind being even stronger than J'onn's makes her a good candidate for Green as well.

@@pattheman3686 did you skip season 2? pre aqua lad season 2 she is vastly unempathetic and dismissive of how her actions affected others. she rips a crolataen's mind apart without a second thought twice. post aqua lad she was mostly motivated by fear and distrust of herself until the betrayal of green scarab. she is most certainly not motivated by love. she is deeply desiring of acceptance and will defend anyone who shows her that which is part of why she and superboy made a solid couple.

If she seems detached, it's because she loved him SO much that now she's empty and just going through the motions. She's unemotional because she has No one to help her sort out her feelings. Lagoon boy's just the deuche rebound until she get's her head straight. Now as for the Aqualad thing? Here's how it breaks down. She "loved" Artemis and "seeing" Caldur kill her set her off, hence the revenge she took. Then she mentally attacks Tigress, only to discover the ruse, then becomes "motivated by fear" as you say. That's because she just realized what she'd done to someone she actually really "loves" Yes she messed him up, but THAT level of violence can ONLY come from love. If a stranger betrays you,you get over it quick and easy enough. If a loved one betrays you, you'll want them to suffer because you're suffering. That's just facts. Then you find out that you weren't actually betrayed, but the whole thing is a plan. You'd reign in your abilities too. That's not FEAR stopping you that's love for the person you injured playing tricks in your mind. :Like I said One or two moments of creating fear Aren't enough to Grant her a Permanent Yellow Lantern Status. Fear has to be cultivated, nurtured and left to fester. As for the Crolotean?? she didn't "scare" it or try to cause it any fear. she simply ripped information from it's mind. Where's the fear there?? A message for others?? NO. It was alone and leaving it as a message was "clearly" not her intention, she just wanted info. Nothing else. Now if she had paraded the body of the Crolotean in front of the others to see her Power, Then you could say she was acting in the service of causing fear, but she didn't. So I'm sticking to my opinion that she's not even Close to being A yellow lantern. Love can make you do fucked up shit. Even appear to be "scary" from time to time.

How comes everybody gets Compassion wrong? Not the emotion, the Corps I mean. The Indigo Tribe (they don't refer to them as a Corp) are the bearers of the Compassion spectrum, yeah, NO argument there, but the problem that everybody seems to miss is the fact that THEY ARE NOT chosen for their compassion. Indigo rings don't choose people with great display of compassion, like the other rings do (green choose great will power, yellow chooses great ability to instigate fear, etc), Indigo rings FORCE people into feel compassion to others. Thus, the Indigo Tribe members are chosen for their ruthlessness. The more sadistic and ruthless a person is, the more prone they are to be chosen for an Indigo Ring. In fact, once they are chosen, they even ditch their names, they go by numbers and the lower the number, the more ruthless a person is without the ring. Their leader, Indigo 1 is most ruthless and less compassionate being in the universe, she was chosen by Abin Sur himself (the previous owner of Hall Jordan's ring) becasue she massacrated his family (and I believe his whole planet too, not sure about that) among several other people in other planets and she showed no remorse for the countless lives she'd taken. So yeah, Indigo Ring wielders, ARE NOT compassionate people, instead, they are ruthless people, those who don't really care for others and the consequences fo their actions, their rings FORCE them to feel compassion. So while your analysis of the characters is quite right, they would not fit the Indigo Tribe/wield an indigo Ring because they are basically the opposit of what an Indigo Ring looks for in a person.

It’s just that this doesn’t happen as often due to the actual purpose of their Corp is to rehabilitate criminals as those who wear the ring long enough don’t need the ring to be compassionate anymore

@ The WerewolfF True, but those are isolated cases, rare and extreme cases that are only temporarily and done because there is no other solution. Your case in point happened during the Blackest Night where people on Earth were chosen to wield the rings of the emotional spectrum so they could assist the actual Corps leaders to defeat the Black Lantern "Corps". Another example could be John Stewart who also used an Indigo Ring, Indigo 1's, during the War of the Green Lanterns when Parallax corrupted the Green Lantern rings and used the GL Corps as his personal army, rendering John, Hal, Guy and Kyle's rings useless to them. So each of them used the ring of one of the leaders of the other corps to fight Parallax' forces. Point is, while you are right, Indigo Rings can be beared by compassionate people, it only happens during savage crisis, which is not the case he (the owner of the video) tries to point out. So in the scenario he imagines, while his analysis makes sense, it still wouldnt work unless they are facing a crisis of that magnitude.

Yellow makes sense for Miss Martian, not only because she is scary, but because fear was such a defining trait for her-at least some of those times she disregarded her conscience seemed to be because she was afraid of rejection from her loved ones, such as when she put Psymon in a coma to keep him from revealing her true form or when she tried to rewrite Superboy’s memories to preserve their relationship (and ironically destroyed it). At least one of the Team should’ve been an Orange Lantern, and I’d vote for Red Arrow, because his actions seemed driven by his desire to prove himself or to get the recognition he felt he diserved. But that’s just me.

Kid flash: love due his care & love for his team & Artemis. He can't be in the death Corp due to him still being alive. I believe that he is in the speed force somewhere Superboy: Rage without as doubt. He's a clone of supermen and clones can go insane with rage from time to time. Just like star wars the force unleashed 2. Plus he's a mix of superman and lex Luther, I'd go mad too. Robin: will or hope. Hope due to the optimism and brave character. Will due to the fact that he's willing to change outcomes. You make your own fate. Zatana: compassion or life due to her not only being a wonderful person that likes good people but also have understanding of others needs. She also seem to be full of life and want to protect it at all cost. Plus she's cute and that's the real magic. Plus he looks good in red and red is a badass color. Aqualad: compassion due to his years of thinking about situations where others couldn't. The level of care and empathy for his team and friend for taking his girl. I mean you have to have good nerves if someone took your girl but understand why she chose him over you. Personally I'd be pissed but get over it over time. Artemis: Will since she wants to change herald despite her family dark history or hope for not giving up. Plus she cried for kid flash when he was gone & had the will to go on so it's will. Rocket: idk much so I'm going to say compassion due to his age acted in the show. It can be love. I don't know Ms. Martian: fear. She can be Nice one minute and then erased your ability to breathe in your mind. She's darker than me and I'm black. She can destroy villians and tamper with her love's mind to win an argument. That's cold. Those are my thoughts

I couldn't disagree more. Rage is just the front he puts up to hide his deeper emotions, which he was raised to believe were weak. You can tell this especially well when his shell breaks, and his true side shows through. His true emotion is compassion or love. His love for animals, and gradually people, his drive to do anything to save those he cares about, including dying for them. When he died, he could have killed his clone and survive, but he was so firm in the no-kill rule, he did not want to kill a clone who has no idea of any other way of life, and forgave him. His last words were not a cry of vengeance, but a cry for his mother to stop. Obviously, you don't know much about Damian, so I'm going to give you a recommendation so you don't make this incorrect assessment again. Go read Robin: Son of Batman. Then you can rant about how much you hate him, but not until you actually know something about his character!

I think Ms Martian should wield an indigo ring of Compassion because she doesn’t have any compassion towards her enemies and sometimes not even to her allies. She may act nice and sweet mostly but she hardly shows any empathy towards her enemies. Yes I know enemies don’t often deserve empathy & respect but it just depends on how twisted and evil they are. Such as bank robbers aren’t really that evil they just rob banks and want to be rich and set for life sure they will kill someone just avoid witnesses. She erased a guy's mind just because she was afraid that he would reveal what her real form was, she created the whole Megan personality out of a fear of not being accepted and she tried to erase her lover's memories because she was afraid that he would leave him. Most of her dubious or outright evil actions were motivated by fear.

Keep in mind, we rarely see Superman's full strength like… ever. So based off the info people had in the comics, they assumed Superboy only had 1/2 of Superman's strength.

You have to remember that Supes himself often holds back in terrestrial combat situations to avoid causing catastrophic damage to his surroundings, though this doesn't really matter when he's in space..

When I first saw that episode where KF delivered that heart I loved it because one, he's my favorite DC hero and two because it did show how compassionate he is. Now after a couple of years have passed and I got the chance to read the comic where he did it I appreciate it more. Especially since when it happened in the comics Wally was The Flash.

You contradict yourself a lot in this video. In the beginning you go on saying that you're only focusing on Season 1. You put Superboy into the Reds because he's an angry duche.. Fair enough. But then you go and put Ms. Martian into the Yellows because of the events of Season 2. She doesn't really show any signs of ANY of the things you were talking about for her in Season 1. That all happens in Season 2. In Season 1, Ms. M is a very different person and would likely be placed in either Pink (love) or Blue (hope). So you can't say "I'm only taking Superboy's traits from Season 1, and not counting his mature, more complex nature of Season 2/3, but then take only Season 2 for Ms. Martian.

TBH I’d put red arrow in avarice primarily because it wasn’t rage that made him, him. But rather the desire to a) join the league, then b) to find the first Roy Harper, causing him to be a hero for hire and steal from people. So in my mind this isn’t rage, it’s pure avarice and desire, so people aren’t becoming enemies they’re obstacles to his goal. And for Artemis, probably just love, cuz she shows willpower, but doesn’t have a lot of it. As she was easily swayed to becoming a double agent, has to be given a pep talk by robin to not give up just yet against the androids, but shows a great deal of love for miss Martian not getting her hurt after making aqualad catatonic. In my mind she lacks willpower, but has a lot of love for the people around her even her criminal family and her disabled mother.

Personally, based on the fact that the Indigo tribe was in fact created specifically to teach compassion to the worst criminals in the universe, I do have a few ideas on the placements myself, not only based on compassion,but also my own inferences about the characters. (And yes I know that in blackest night the Atom was chosen because he was compassionate, but that was a specific reaction to the situation at hand and they needed backup quick so he activated what I believe to be an alternative function of the ring to do so) But without further ado (if asked I will explain my opinions): Zatanna- Willpower Aqualad- Willpower Kid Flash- Hope Rocket- Will I agree with the rest of the video's assessments though.

I couldn’t agree with you more about Miss Martian. She honestly is evil with respect to her actions and she doesn’t seem to be truly on the side of the light. She isn’t pure good at all and I’d say her darkness supersedes that part of her. Her choice to try be good is the only saving grace about her in the end, and that doesn’t rectify her negative traits either.

An other aspect that fit fear for miss martian is the fact that lots of here actions are fuel by it. She hide herself by fear or rejection, being all Nice and pleasing To people because of it. And she even Tried To mindle with Connor's mind most likely by fear of loosing him. The girl is powerful but afraid from a live of being bullied and she is up to anything To not Feel like she felt.

Now this question is tricky do to the fact that each one of the teen heroes of the (Young Justice League) have different characteristic personality traits to them own selfs, and to add have different methods of dealing with stress, depression, remorse, anger, rage, anxiety, & other such feelings, & also to add intense moments as well too. But I do have a number of guesses of where most of them might be part of in a colored lantern Corp; Such as Aqua-Lad could be in the Green-Lantern guardian Corp, Martian-Gal could be in the Violet-Lantern guardian Corp, SuperBoy could be in the Green-Lantern guardian Corp, and NightWing could be in the Green-Lantern guardian Corp.

If you look back at the series, Ms. Martian's happy and sweet side was mostly a facade. It was an act that she thought she had to do. She watched the Hello Megan show and thought that was how all earth girls acted so put on the mask of happy, cheerful, and naive. This makes her even scarier because she can so convincingly change her personality at any moment. And even though she later shows to truly care and be almost motherly, this isn't really shown until later seasons and still does not get rid of how she was first presented.
