@@devilhunter2679 ok, so his first skill can taunt someone else in your team and protect arjuna for one turn and debuffs crits for all enemies (arjuna alter inflicts more damage on debuffed enemies). His second skill gives some extra defense and 10% np, if you have a starting gauge craft essence on arjuna it can also help to get his np up. And last, chen gong's last skill gives berserkers increased buster and 100% crit damage for one turn and also max hp.

You MUST level Chen Gong!... But also keep one at level 1 for solos You give him a Kaleidoscope, pick any servant witha 20% battery to fill the remaining 20, use his taunt on him, kill the other servant with the NP, and Chen will die inmediately. Easy solo

Already have him grailed to 90 NP5. Found a way to loop even with Painting Summer. Now he can even loop through some rider and berserker nodes (not with painting summer for berserkers). And the best part is, he'll just get even better when Castoria comes out. Best F2P farming (and even some CQs) servant IF you have sufficient supports for him. He utilizes them extremely well.

@@jp7m710 What CE do you want on him? Non-MLB Kscope or Painting Summer? I actually found that in neutral nodes, you can use your strongest damaging 50% starting charge CE, which was Aerial Drive for me. 621,250,875

I'm seriously considering grailing Arash and Chen Gong since when it comes to farming these two and Nitocris are my go to for first 2 waves. but what's a good stopping point? Btw I'm not gonna go lv 100 (10 grails),so my limit is lv 90 (5 grails). but is lv 80 good? is it a relevant difference? also do I bother with a lv 90 Nitocris or there is not much difference?

Fun fact: Also just like Arash, if they have atleast overcharge 2, Chen Gong's NP does double the hits if the target survives the initial burst, so teams with either guts, bars, insanely high HP, or are riders, you do 8 hits and actually gens more NP as well. Ironically, while other loopers need to kill the enemies to get that sweet overkill to loop, Chen Gong actually does better when he's against the opposite, those opponents that survive the initial burst of his NP.

Quick question regarding hits. I know hit numbers go toward Np gain and Star drop for quick and arts. But does it effect damage for Buster cards?

Sadly, no. Instead, it does help the Buster's Star drop. In the case of Shishou and Summer Nobu, when starting with an Arts card, they also gen a decent amount of NP, as long as they have high hit counts.

u dont need any of that for him to be useful. His kit at its base is already good for supporting any berzerker, by giving them a fat offensive buff and can serve as a taunt wall for them. A lv1 copy of him is often used in solo strategies too just by being a taunter, even if you can't turn 1 np. His values only go up with investment and he can be completely self sufficient.

Here's a looping recipe you might be able to try: slot 1: Waver, 20% NP on death CE. slot 2: Gong, Painting Summer CE (MLB) slot 3: Tamamo, CE doesn't matter. Swap out for backline (slot 6) Paracelsus (requires his bond CE vs assassins). Could alternatively borrow a friend's Tamamo with her bond CE, have her start in slot 6 and swap her and Paracelsus the other direction. slot 4: Asclepius, battle of Camlann CE (MLB) slot 5: any 20% NP boosting ally. I literally used Mashu for it to test, but others would be better for damage (Lanling, Helena, Attila the Santa, etc.) slot 6: either Paracelsus or Tamamo as discussed in slot 3. So if you have Waver, Asclepius, and the necessary CEs, you can do it. If you're missing some pieces of that, Waver ticket comes this Spring, Camlann can potentially replace the 20% CE, you can always work toward Paracelsus F2P, and Asclepius is sometimes a rate up 3 star single target. And of course NP5 Gong will come with time.
