Which Low Card WWE Performers Could Leave For a Few Years and Return As Headliners?

Anybody else sick and tired of this notion of "THE Guy" in WWE, or is it just me? Personally I think WWE needs to ditch the idea of the company being carried by one single person. They should have it built around multiple top stars. Guys like Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, etc. I personally don't mind if Roman Reigns is a top star, I just don't want him as THE guy who's always main eventing every PPV and getting title shots handed to him.

I agree. The question pertained to real _bottom of the barrel_ players the way Jinder and Drew were when they were in 3MB and were treated as comedic characters and bottom of the ladder jobbers. Although Solomonster did kind of answer by dismissing the four names mentioned.

I think the guy was asking about low-low card guys, Solomonster, not midcard guys like Rusev and Cesaro. Considering that Drew went from being a complete loser in WWE in 3MB to being a legitimate main event player in other promotions, I mean. Of course, it depends doesn't it. For every Drew MacIntyre there's a Damien Sandow who left and fizzled very quickly.

Personally, I wanted to see Dolph Ziggler leave WWE and show up on Lucha Underground to feud with Johnny Mundo (the former John Morrison) and preferably try and steal his girlfriend, Taya. That feud would be awesome. Unfortunately, not only is Season 4 already in the bag, but Ziggler managed to bend WWE over a rail with his rich new contract and has no reason to go anywhere, despite how crappy his booking is.

Rusev is already in the mix with the top guys, he had a match with The Undertaker and a recent win over Daniel Bryan, he isn't low card! Luke Harper, Tyler Breeze and Chad Gable, there's some real low card names who could actually do well on the indies and get good pushes on there return.

Return? They should leave and never come back. Especially Cesaro who would be a superstar outside of the WWE at this stage. With the All In show selling out so fast and the overall "Backlash" (pun intended) on WWE's product, it's a good time for alternatives such as ROH to make some ground up on WWE. The Indies and NJPW have gained more attention in America since Cody Rhodes left and got involved with the Young Bucks and The Elite.

Good facial expressions.. and her acting in promos are actually pretty good for someone who rarely even speaks.
