I think somehow, Cher being a singer in real life, it didn't fit in with the others! With the others being very capable of singing but not being singers for real it comes across as more genuine when they suddenly burst out into the song. Does that make sense? In cher's songs there was also a lot of autotune used.

Lilly was the best singer. Young Harry (sorry cant remembe the actors name) was just terrible and I'll never understand why he was cast. Pierce Brosnan wasnt that great either. There's a video on youtube somewhere, sorry dont have a link, explaining that when they were making the movie all the cast singing was pre-recorded except Lilly when she's singing Mamma Mia. That just prooves to me that they thought she was the best.
