Which Marvel Legends Star-Lord Helmet Is BETTER: The Original or the Re-release?

The collector in me is like “I need both!!!” But if they are quite literally identical and I will only be buying for display alone, I simply cannot justify buying both 😂 But lord knows the fact that there is technically two, is gonna bother me WAY more than it should 😂

😂 I’m in exactly the same position. When I bought the new one I was only intending to keep one..::but now my wife keeps asking why there are two of them on display 🤷‍♂️

@@order66collectiblesI was so excited for the helmet since I missed the OG release but when I found out marvel cheaped out i decided to skip. I’d rather buy a better quality etsy helmet for around the same $130-$200 price range. Not sure what Disney was thinking.

I got the second version and watched a review of the original. Saw it had Bluetooth and rushed to check mine out only to be disappointed 😂. Not too bugged though, I’m a music quality snob and can’t imagine the speakers would be too good anyway.

@@HistorySkate when I first got it, the speakers were actually pretty good. sadly, when I saw this vid I went to put some fresh batteries in it and found the ones in there had leaked. I'm gonna see if I could fix it somewhere down the line

Wanted one since the original release but didn’t have the money for it at the time. Just picked up the 23’ model for a whopping sale price of…$65 USD. The Bluetooth speaker on the of is cool but not several hundred dollars cool. Very happy.

Yeah I noticed the sound effects on the new one are really low I thought there was something wrong with mine

I’d rather pay more for the Bluetooth helmet from 2017 so I can listen to music as I dress up as Star-Lord.

That’s fair enough - I found it difficult enough to hear stuff with the helmet on so preferred using the orb / external Bluetooth devices but it’s a preference and budget issue really 😊

Are the horrendous smudges on the lenses still on the newer model? It was so bad they managed to do that to the last production run.

The smudges aren’t on mine and I’ve not seen any reports of it from others so fingers crossed they fixed the issue 🤞

The Bluetooth version is the original release from hasbro but they discontinued it so you can only really pick it up on the aftermarket now from places like eBay

😂 it’s still a good feature though - especially for comicons! Just if you can pick up one of the orbs I’d recommend that for sound quality 👍

I think they removed it to save costs 😞 doesn’t make too much difference - a portable Bluetooth speaker does the job just fine 👍
