I just got this for my son for Christmas. I ended up paying $160 w shipping on eBay for a new one. I was worried but it's a very cool piece, very fun. And that's coming from somebody who's never seen a movie with Ironman in it.

A vacuum motor would be small enough but it would need to be plugged in 😂🤦🏽‍♂️ At 8 I thought of a jet pack using 2 two liter sodas or more strapped to a backpack upside down using mentos (mints)

Unfortunately, no. The internal components are pretty exposed on the inside, so I doubt it's even water-resistant. Be careful not to get it wet.

I probably wouldn't let anyone under 13 use it since it has a lot of moving parts and can be easy to break if your not careful. Keeping that in mind, I think it really depends on their head size because most kids heads are about 95% full grown by age 9. Overall, it should fit most kids 10+ and if it is too small, you can always use that headband or hat strategy I mentioned in the video.
