Exactly and even if thats not the case maybe laura just passed on the codename to bobbi after retiring. Not to mention at the same time as thanos in wakanda in chicago the agents are fighting graviton aka talbot. the darkhold also in doctor strange multiverse of madness is said to be more then one copy it could simply be another copy. because ghost rider took his into another dimension. And the whole time travel thing gives them a reason to not react to the blip also the agents could not do much The avengers could not either so it could simply be when everyone had accepted that they were all gone. As for inhumans a lot were killed taken by jiaying or saved. When the agents went back and forward in time they went to two different timelines and returned to the old timeline.

@@minerpvpgaming2160 Interesting theory but mine is just that when they fight graviton thanos is about to snap when coulson is gone the people are fading. They cant do much about it and then have to deal with sarge and time travel during endgame. Because they have been in three timelines. First one is the mcu where they live and return to in the last episode while fighting the chronicoms. The second when the went to the lighthouse in the future they stopped that from happening to their future so its another timeline. And the last where deke currently is as of season 7 wher there is no daisy jiaying dies sooner and deke leads shield. So in my theory they returned back to 616 in the final episode. Just my theory

While Phase 4 hasn't lived up to most people's expectations so far, bringing the multiverse theory into the MCU was a brilliant idea. Being able to bring back old actors reprising their roles whether or not their stories were canon brings so many opportunities for great stories. We just have to find the right directors to make them.

Yeah I 100% agree, it makes me super grateful I grew up with the Tobey Spider-Man movies then got to enjoy and watch the mcu grow from the very start. I think this will end in the Battleworld story and just be a huge celebration movie of marvel from across franchises. The darkhold in wandavidion is a copy said Wong in multiverse of madness. Therefore the darkholds in AoS and runaways are most likely to be just copies too. There are many copies of the darkhold.

Except we saw a copy from the multiverse which is exactly like the one in Wandavision, so that seems to be the base design of the MCU for the Darkhold and not the AOS one. It could still be a copy, but why are they called the same if they are different

My thesis on daredevil and kingpin’s situation is that they are variants, but the Netflix shows are extremely similar to the MCU variants of those characters (kingpins physique is a prime example of this) and the reason Kingpin needed to rebuild his empire, is because Daredevil season 3.

The way I see it, the MCU has shown that time travel makes alternate realities/timelines, and Season 5 makes a big time travel change and so everything Agents of Shield seasons 1-4 is canon to mainline MCU but somehow the time travel shenanigans in Season 5 means Thanos doesn't do the snap.

I just got a shiver when you showed Feige taking over without moderation... Lucas made excellent movies back in the day because he had a vision of craziness and others reigned him in and made a trilogy out of his craziness. Feige may well need reigns to keep him going, the last bit of the MCU has been less than stellar. It is often easier to be creative inside a set of limitations than it is to be creative without any limitations at all, counterintuitive but it's how a lot of people work.

I've heard that there was some kind of friction between Jeph Loeb and Kevin Feige which lead to AOS and the Netflix shows to be ignored by the movies on purpose.

It was hit and miss tbh, I personally loved shield, had its problems but it had a strong fanbase, agent Carter was fantastic, I wish they continued it to show how shield started. Daredevil was by far the most popular Netflix show, I think the others were mixed but iron fist was poorly received by most. So overall a mixed bag, but you’re right, it also gave audiences the experience of what a tv show in a movie universe feels like

In Spider-Man Far from Home they were talking about the blip and how it effected some of the students and even Michelle Jones (MJ) called Flash out on that which resulted in the waitress taking away his drink. In Agents of Shield there was a quantum jump time travel blip that brought in on board the quinjet Agent Sousa. Which version of Sousa did he ended up in the show a variant or the real thing? Agents of Shield, WandaVision, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness isn't the only shows that have a season or 2 which revolves around the Darkhold. Behold the show Runaways season 3 that brought in Morgan Le Fey. Which bags the question did Wanda really destroy all the Darkholds or did she left one out and forgot about it? Even if she did, what's her intention keeping an eye on things and waiting for her time to make an appearance again? In the end of Multiverse of Madness she disappeared with that faint glow of red light. Is the show her next world to conquer or something? Where did Wanda go?

It is my hope that with Secret Wars happening and all this multiverse drama, what they end up doing is remix the canon main MCU timeline, basically kinda reset the universe, so this way they can re-include back into the main timeline whatever stuff they want and bring the actors they want back. It's obvious that at some point Marvel TV stuff stopped connecting with the main MCU, but I still hope for many of those shows and its characters/actors to be acknowledged, most especially Agents of SHIELD given how much it carried the Marvel TV side and really was like a testing ground for concepts and tones and styles that the Disney+ shows are doing now. And really, if Kevin Feige is willing to give the Inhumans show a nod with Anson Mount's return as Black Bolt, then I want to see AOS and other show characters make some returns in this multiverse saga. Even if they don't stay, I would love to just see them reappear to help in this ultimate fight.

I think SHIELD seasons 1-5 are canon because while the snap is not mentioned, it is likely that it ended just before the snap. As for 6-7, I think that they happen in a reality where all of the events of the MCU take place, all the shows and everything, EXCEPT Infinity War. I think the Defender-Verse is canon, along with the other shows. As for the Darkhold thing, I think Agatha made copies of the Earth-616 Darkhold to spread chaos (Radcliffe went insane after reading it and Aida broke her programming with a loop her original form would not find due to her programming), but we'll find out in Coven of Chaos, I hope.

Going by one of the current theories of time travel in fiction, there are always ripples when you time travel, you try to keep the problems to a minimum and hopefully the ripples won't change anything significant, however, the ripples in the timeline go in both directions. This would explain how Agents of SHIELD was canon then wasn't, they are on an alternate timeline due to their own meddling with time, the ripples went back to before their time travel.

Yeah all of the netflix shows have been added to the MCU timeline on Disney+ and have all been placed before the events of Infinity War which was the only thing they could do. The ending of Endgame regarding Agent Carter is a tricky one, even Marvel themselves can't decide if that is a new branched timeline or if cap just went back to the earlier time period in the sacred MCU timeline. But im with you on that, is there a scene right after that where peggys new husband comes home to find her slow dancing with cap in the living room? Haha thanks for the comment man!

Most marvel TV projects end within 2018 so they don’t really reference the snap because we’ll they don’t have too. Only other show that should be effected by the snap and isn’t is runaways but again that can be easily solved because half of them where in the dark dimension when it occurred

It isn't necessarily true that the Netflix shows never "mention" the marvel things luke cage, Jessica Jones etc directly mention the "green dude and his crew" we also see Matt Murdock in the MCU in both she hulk and Spiderman films, I have a theory that the Netflix street stuff just isn't notable and they don't care for the other meta humans (but it's very likely the defenders and MCU films are in the same universe, if not I'd say they are a different universe)

Well I think it’s important to note that Kevin Feige said this when still under the regime of Ike Perlmutter, so he gave a very political answer. But look man, I’d like to think they were canon too I’m not against these shows at all, I’m a fan, I’m just trying to help make sense of all of the contradictions from the tv shows and in my opinion, the multiverse angle is the best way to keep these shows as canon as possible

You forgot to mention Peter Mensah who played General Joe Greller on The Incredible Hulk. And then Qovas in season 5 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. People use the time travel excuse. But they are not canon. I think they'll use the variant excuse. From what I'm hearing, Feige is just going to use the same actors. At least with Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher. Same actors, different versions. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. seasons 1 and 2, Agent Carter season 1 and Daredevil season 1 yes, that started out being canon. It stopped being canon in August of 2015. When Feige started reporting directly to Bob Iger. Noticed that after season 2, we don't see actors from the movies in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. And if we see any, is cause Feige had no plans for them. Like the president. Or the Hydra character that appeared in the first Avengers.

I really liked Runaways and Cloak n Dagger, I assume because the events are not happened in New York with all the main MCU heros, it's just a bunch of kids running around saving the city and some evil creepy parents doing rituals and human Traffcking are not a avengers level threat(I'll call it a Shield/Defenders Level threat), that's why it's not mentioned in the movie. Cloak n Dagger did mention Stark Industries and Misty Knight from Defenders series. Runaways mentioned Wakanda.

Even though I was never on board with the show being Canon, and as much as I disliked the 1st half of agents of shield S1, and parts of S2, at least if you told me its canon when referring to just the 1st 2 seasons, id at least understand you and not call you wrong. but S3 and 4 feel very disconnected, as well as S5, until thanos is mentioned along with super vague attacks in NY that lead to nowhere And I'm sorry for fans of this show. BUT 50% OF THE UNIVERSE DIED, there was 10 of them is less than 7/1000, and from what little of the public appears, nobody seems sad and there's quite a few populated areas considering billions are almost immediately dead. This would be like in Clone Wars Season 7 if we still got the hints it took place around revenge of the S*** like Dooku being dead, but then completely ignored order 66

Cannon to what? The Marvel Comic Book, where all this begins, or The Thing that was made up by non-Marvel Fans for movie and TV purposes? To me, the cannon is Stan Lee Marvel. All others are non-cannon. These shows are telling true Marvel fans that they can turn someone else dream into their own. They have to be canon to the comic book nothing more or nothing less.

I've always considered that Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Punisher; were during the five years that half of humanity was dusted. Even though it's not the case, I like to imagine that the people are either traumatized or feel like it's the new normal that half the world's population is gone. This will explain why Daredevil and Kingpin made appearances in the MCU. Agents of SHIELD was always connected to the MCU. I feel like, due to the time traveling and other supernatural events that occurred, it was why they were never dusted or perhaps were sent to another universe when the Avengers did their time traveling adventure and when they fixed everything, they returned to their original universe. I've only watched the Gifted, the Inhumans, and a few episodes of Cloak and Dagger, so it's a bit hard for me to try to add these shows in. Cloak and Dagger fits with the Defenders, which fits with the MCU, so they're not so hard, but it is kinda hard to determine the time since I haven't finished the series. As for the Gifted. It could fit within the five year gap, but there's way to many errors to be ignored. So in my opinion, I feel like it could fit better within the current MCU. As of now, the MCU is currently in the year 2024/2025. The last few movies and TV series were... Thor: Love and Thunder. Which took place mostly in Space with about a ten minute scene of Asgardians, in a village, in Norway, away from the "Humans." Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Which mostly took place in Wakanda and the Ocean. There was maybe about 5 minutes worth of footage that took place otherwise but it never showed us how people are. And Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3. Which took place in Space. If we go back a little, we will see Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness; and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Which kept our main heros who could had interfere during the Gifted busy. Hawkeye, Falcon, and Winter Solider were busy with their own thing as well. From Ms Marvel, we know that Captain Marvel is (or was) in Space. The only available heros who could help were Antman and the Wasp.... But they recently had their own adventure in the Quantum Realm. So in my opinion, the Gifted fits perfectly within the current MCU while the Defenders takes place within the five year gap of the MCU, and agents of SHIELD ends the day the snap happened or right when everyone comes back. Whichever you think is better. I know there's two other shows, such as the Runaways and the New Mutants but I've haven't watched any episodes yet, so I don't know how to add them. As for the Ghost Rider tv show. I liked the show but since Agents of SHIELD has a Ghost Rider already, it makes no sense to try and fit the Ghost Rider(tv) into the MCU. If Marvel is careful, they could even fit the X-men and Fantastic 4(the 2005) movies into the MCU.
