im a 1.8 main and ive played it for all that ive been playing minecraft pvp, but recently after trying 1.9 and learning a bit of it, Its way better in my opinon

My main version is 1.7 ,I found it pretty hard to adjust my w taps in 1.9+ but once I got hang of it became pretty easy .I don't mind the cooldown but the kb felt a bit weird at first.

I started with 1.9 pvp played for around 1 year and got great at it and eventually got bored of it and tried 1.8. 1.8 is quite easy to master or get good at it in around 3 months I was winning most of my duels on servers like hypixel and minemen. I get 7-10 cps btw not great, but it works. Now I am back at 1.19 because I eventually got bored of 1.8 after 6 months because I have mastered it. 1.9+ pvp has much more to do and after returning I have lost my skills on 1.19 still getting them back and its quite tough to win 1.9+ because every player knows the basics.

personally the biggest differences I see between 1.9 and 1.8 are how different kb feels and 1v2s are more difficult

personally think 1.8 is harder to get decent at (keyword decent) especially due to how cps can affect the outcome by a slight bit, 1.9 is easier to get hang of (especially now that 1.9 is being given more attention, by bigger youtubers like intel edits) but it takes some time and maybe somewhat of a headspace to actually improve further and learn beyond what you know

I like 1.9+ cause it has updates and u dont need cps to be good at it just skill and movement and why i dont like 1.8.9 first you need cps and cps matters in some aspect of pvp gamemodes in 1.8.9 and high cps gives you less kb and double hits and u can easily block clutch and not die from the void which is super unfair for everyone and lastly 1.8.9 HAS NO UPDATES its an old version anyway

@@kaenz18 yea but ITS STILL HARD TO BRIDGE in 1.9+ than 1.8 there is a differences cause shifting is different on both versions and also if you place blocks fast like ur butterfly clikning 20 cps sometimes it will be invisble or not let you place it its kinda buggy like you cant really place blocks on 1.9+ like 1.8 so its hard to bridge

1.8 is better as it’s the OG and it’s obviously more skillful 🤓 1.9 is the best as there’s cpvp, more modes, skill gap, new and better PvP style 🤓 Bedrock is amazing as 1.8 PvP is there and cpvp there’s also crossplay 🍷 🗿 Either PvP is good 🍷 🗿
