Best piece of beading/sewing advice ever given: Don't thread the needle; instead, needle the thread. Second best piece of advice: Flatten the end of the thread with a flat nose pliers. (Grandma used her teeth [with sewing thread], which worked for me when young [again, sewing], but never translated well to the thermally bonded beading thread and old eyes I use/have now [thread curls up, rather than becomes flat].) Thanks for this one, Allie! And great advice (starting at 6:18) on which thread to use for various types of projects/beads...and of course which needle to go with it!

Nickel allergies is common. I had a plate put in my neck and the doctor had me to a test to figure out if it was causing problems I was having. The test came back as allergy to nickel. I have talked to others who don't where metal jewelry and looked into nickel free findings. Totally solved the problem for nickel allergies.
