I really like the OLED Switch, especially with the classic red & blue joycons. Looks like an upgraded Switch. And pair that with some personal favourites like Pokemon, Sky, and Legend of Zelda; I'll be set for like forever.

I recommend the switch oled bundle with smash bros ultimate overall however it depends on if you’re going to dock the console and care about the screen, battery etc. at the end of the day since the other Nintendo switch models are cheaper

Nice video, I recently got a Switch OLED Mario Red edition and I’m loving it, I couldn’t imagine using any other Switch models, the games are awesome and is the most fun I’ve had in gaming in a long time and the colours really pop with the OLED display making the most gorgeous looking games like Super Mario Odyssey and RPG look even more gorgeous.

I have a regular switch and since the oled is still out now, i recommend not upgrading to a oled since you already have everything you need except a bigger screen and wider kickstand.

No, you don't need a membership to play the Nintendo Switch. You can buy individual games from the Nintendo E-Shop and Nintendo has a massive library of first party and third party games available. You can also buy physical copies of games too. However, keep in mind that if you wish to play games from previous systems such as the NES, SNES and Gameboy you will need to become a member which will allow you to play games online with friends and strangers and access those consoles games. This is the base membership. There is also an upgraded membership program as well called Online+Expansion which offers access to the previously mentioned systems and online capabilities and it also gives you games from systems such as the Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis and some exclusive content such as DLC for select games (Mario Kart 8, Animal Crossing, etc).

My Switch Woes: The OLED system has a lot of flex, it feels like it could easily break. I have an OLED and inside the first week it picked up a deep scratch from the dock; Nintendo needs to fix the dock! Additionally sooo many games are not optimised for hand-held play which is outrageous, you'll need to run them in docked mode and if you do, every other system will do it better. My final jibe, the Nintendo store...never have I seen such a pile of terrible bloatware. Nintendo should curate their offerings; at the moment they're the Netflix of game consoles - which is, "It's not the quality, it's the quantity". Bad Nintendo, no biscuit for you. As an aside...is this the right time to buy a Switch? Nope, the right time is when the new console becomes available and the current Switch gets a price drop; the Switch will be supported for a long time with most initial game releases being cross-gun.
