Thanks for sharing this. I did ordered a YC Onion for Yolobox Ultra. Just got the Yolobox Ultra and the cage should arrive tomorrow. Can’t wait to start my own live broadcast. Does anyone know of a U bracket that can fit on the YC cage for the Yolo Box PRO that would allow for mounting at the back of rather than on the bottom? Essentially achieving the same back design as the Catefo.

Wow, you can read my mind. I just upgraded to the Yolobox Ultra, but my YC Onion cage for my Yolobox Pro would not fit 🙃 I wanted to handheld my Yolobox Ultra in my live stream this week, so I just let the micropjone receiver hand from the line socket. Waiting for the new YC Onion cage. But maybe there is better?? Greets from Berlin!

I like the YC Onion Cage and I know the others will be making cages for the Ultra, in due time.

thanks. its criminal the YC onion cage has no cold shoe mounts on, I dont see anything from YOLO making their own cage however

The cage is covered in mounting points, and you can put a cold shoe wherever you want for just a couple dollars. This way the cold shoe is where you want it not where they want it
