I just started mining in a fleet and we had an Orca with us. Even in my Venture I was able to compress my ore and hold a crazy amount. it was awesome not having to run back every 20 min to unload. Now I've got a Retreiver and can't wait to mine with my fleet.

For eg: lets say youve just filled ur Venture's hold with rich plagioclase and that would fetch you about 1mil isk. Now you gona fly to the nearest station that gives you that price. WRONG. You take it to the nearest refinary, compress it and leave it there then go harvest more. And so on. The compressed verion of an ore is worth more then the standard ore aaand you will be able to carry many times more of it in one run to go sell.

I use the Tayra Caldari bulk transporter mine holds 35000k now compress the Ore~ huge isk hauler.

but... its also a low juicy target for gankers with the cargo expanders. its much more practical to fast fit a badger and haul smaller (less juicy) loads .... If you are hauling 35k+ in compressed ore in a slow easy to kill Tayra, then you are going to potentially have a bad day...... Solution: sill up to a bustard and fast fit the bustard. It has a bigger fleet hanger ..... For new players... look at a Miasmos ... its a specialized ore hauler

just remember that even though plagio is worth more isk per unit, its also 4x the size of veldspar. so 4x veldspar is equal to 1x plagio weight, meaning veldspar is actually worth more

When you crush a car. You’re not making it lighter, but you’re just making it take up less space. You’ve reduced the volume m^3.

what ore is best ?, check the market to see what ore is in demand, just because the ore has a high value does not mean that ore is in demand, what brings in the most funds ?, raw, refined, compressed, again check the market for what is in demand and gives you the best value, do i sell it at a far competitive price hoping someone will buy it soon or do i fill a order and get my funds now? easy to answer, check the market on what is for sale, look at how much there selling and how long it has been available, or i should say untouched, then look at the orders placed and check from time to time to see how fast they are being filled, never be in a rush to get your stuff to market, it is better to build up a stockpile little at a time at the station and when the orders are placed, make a quick trip to market and fill the demand.

You should never sell ore as is. Always compress it first if you dont have other plans for it.

Might wanna redo this video. Plag is only valuable in one area in high sec. Instead u should show the player a few good websites that show u the valuable ore depending on what area if space they are in.
