Which Overstable Fairway Driver Is BEST? || Raptor vs Firebird vs Felon

I actually prefer the Resistor for this slot. 6.5 4. 0. 3.5 I just like the rim feel more and I still more or less get the same flight. I have tried the capt raptor, firebird, and motion. Capt raptor is on a different level imo. I thought the firebird was great at the job too. I bagged the motion and then lost it. Now I am leaning on the resistor. I have a brand new dyed fireball that is just waiting to get thrown but I haven't done it yet. For now the resistor and deflector will hold down the overstable duties.

I think that makes sense, my only thought would be on the forehand I think I would struggle with a thinnger rim/slower speed disc. But if that works for you thats awesome. The raptor and firebird are really close for me, hard to tell a huge difference honestly

My brother's resistors are broken. They fly like a slightly overstable crave for him 😂

@@NicholasMdg lol wow. I use neutron plastic and glow. Glow is really overstable. It would be nice to have a slightly overstable crave. I wish I had something like that. I have tried servos but they too don't seem to have the stability that I would like

How is the fd3 not on this list? I guess they can sometimes be hard to find. Definitely worth checking out.

That’s exactly why, I just don’t have any. But once I get my hands on one I definitely want to shoot it out vs the firebirds to see how similar they are/which one is better

Have you ever tried a Thought Space Votum? That disc is money and one of my favorites. Flight numbers 7/4/0/3 and flies straight forever before hyzering out. My Ethos plastic one even has a little turn to it.

I’ve actually never thrown any Thought Space plastic. I’m for sure going to need to remedy that sometime soon!

@@AndrewWoodDiscGolf I second his take on the Votum, I throw an aura which flips a little then hyzers out (similar to an eagle) and an ethos, which flies very strait for a while then has a hard finish.

Thank you! My impression of the Tesla is that it’s more similar to an undertaker or a CD1? Am I wrong and it’s more overstable like the firebird?

@@AndrewWoodDiscGolf looking at the numbers your right. Maybe it's my noodle arm or it's just the ones I have but they have been way more stable then the numbers suggest.

Either way I’d be curious to test that! I have a lab second one actually that I found but I haven’t thrown it much, I’ll take it out to a field next time I go out!
