Alternative, you can race characters to find the slowest cast character. Then end it by them racing the fastest rep. Emperors Sign from a Frieza race character also grants allies ludicrous speed. Probably worth doing a video on.

Yes, even with purification and no power ups if hold down 'square' / 'X button' it charges your dash and gives you a Massive speed dash.
