I have the T15 and it's great. I'll admit the gimbals aren't as smooth as the AG01s I have on my previous radio, but the T15 is such a better radio than the boxer for several reasons. 1 Color Touchscreen is nicer than you think. 2 1 Watt ELRS with those giant 21700 batteries. 3 That stupid latching switch on the top of the radio can be replaced with the T14 switch kit from Banggood and it will function like a proper arm switch. And 4 foldable antenna. Just a great radio all the way around. Don't be a gimbal snob like Bardwell. This radio feels fine.

The AG01 Gimbals are a must for any kind of filming ,, The Jumper Gimbals are not very good for filming . the tension is not even throughout the movement on the jumper

Sold my boxer. Waiting for T15. For me the color touch screen is a plus. Boxer was really hard to navigate and operate for me. I have pocket ,same thing ,but keeping that for the smaller size when traveling.

I just upgraded from the Radiomaster Pocket to the Radiomaster Boxer Crush. For me, the AG01 gimbals are the best part. Way more precise, almost no jitter, and the sticks have a bigger range of movement.

I have been flying for 3 months with my buddy who also started 3 months ago. I got the lumenier ag01 gimbals for my boxer. Him and I could immediately notice the difference in our flying. People downplay them as if they are just cosmetic. But I believe they help you fly. Less slack/unintended input on yaw when throttling & being able to more easily hold a throttle position to name specifically. Sure they didn't make me a better pilot, but I had less issue doing what I intended.

I have Presidential-sized meathooks, so I use the RM TX12, with AG01 minis. I think it's the forgotten stepchild. It's the Opel GT 1900 of R/C TXs.

Totally agree...RM TX12 is under appreciated due to zorro and pocket.

@@balajiprasad9046 Oddly enough, I find the Pocket to be too small. I haven't handled a Zorro yet but honestly, I never was one for the game controller interface even for its original purpose of computer gaming. I'm more into sims than games, so I invested in joysticks, wheels and pedals. The TX12 is my buttah zone controller; just the right size and heft. And don't get me started on those AG01 minis. . .

@@bernard2016 I have replaced mine with ag-01, they cost like the radio itself. But the original hall gimbals that radio comes with are very good quality. You don't have to replace them if you don't feel the need. I think this radio is the best option in this category. Full size 18650 batteries makes it much better then radiomastrer zorro

I'd compare gimbal feel to a pen. Some pens have that nice smooth feel, others are cheap and write horribly just my opinion though

RM needs $50 AG01 CNC pairs and a new boxer with new LCD touch screen, this would also be separate upgrade with same cost as with a new boxer. RM is the most overpriced TX right now. Not only that my boxer has completely failed on me unable to pair, ELRS or TBS, RM tech support is completely stumped and ELRS discord support also stumped. Off and on it did at one point but with no stick inputs. They yet to confirm or deny if its the boxer board but it definitely is.

If the Mambo had EdgeTX and crossfire instead of FreedomTX (which can’t even fully support ELRS) and tracer, then you’d have a valid point. The mambo is only a decent radio if you fly purely tracer.

@@hylaride it does support crossfire and ELRS tho. The only thing it doesn't support is EdgeTX. But I only use XF and Tracer anyways, I'm sitting pretty with my Mambo

@@mythrillium2 It doesn’t *fully* support ELRS. Many of the packet modes won’t work due to various software and hardware limitations (unless that was fixed very recently). Tracer is among the least popular of the “modern” control links - if you’re going to recommend a radio to a newbie, you’re also going to probably recommend ELRS, preferably built in. If you’re going to buy a radio that needs an external control bay, you may as well get one that will fully supports ELRS - also the mambo is significantly more expensive with all its limitations. If you’re all in on tracer, then by all means get it. But there’s a reason it’s not recommended.

Big color screen just kills your battery! I looked at my screen for 45 min when I set it up... When I use it my eyes are covered... Sold my tx16s a week after getting the Boxer!!

You can program screen brightness on a knob, on the TX16S. JB has a video on it. I have the Radiomaster 6200mah lipo which lasts for hours for flying, and running out of power has never been an issue for me

Before everbody dismisses FrSky. The Frsky X18 or X14 are very similar in formfactor to the ones in the video and the quality and finish is way better. They can be used with all the modules out there and Ethos is a very intuitive OS and a breath of fresh air compared to EdgeTX.
