1. The Pokemon were ranked based on everything that I believe makes for a good Pokemon. (design, concept, execution, appeal, etc.) It has nothing to do with popularity. Popularity was just used to describe some of the Pokemon here, not how I actually ranked them. You also know me, I don't rank Pokemon based on competitive viability either. 2. I somehow forgot to mention Cinderace in the fire type section when talking about Galar. Don't know how... I love Cinderace... Whatever. The Galar fire types aren't bad so it didn't affect the video's outcome at all. Enjoy.

@@megadude2850 No, everything Unova used to be hated. People disliked the games because you could only catch Unova Pokemon until the postgame, and because the map was too linear for some. Also, people despised Unovan designs, and the amazing Pokemon from the region have only gotten appreciation in the past year or two.

It's weird that I like Delphox because I always agree the criticisms people make about it, (the ear hair, the weird fur dress). There's just something cool and eerie and interesting about its wand-like torch and I kinda like how it looks a bit uncanny. After all, it is a witch.

@@chupacadabra5161 I actually personally disagree with those criticisms as It's ear hair references how witches are usually depicted with crazy unkept hair and it's fur dress is very clever as it looks like it has patches on it similar to a witch's dress or rags. While I do see why people find that weird and unsettling, I think that's what makes the Pokemon so diverse. It can look cute and also quite disturbing and eerie as you mentioned. Also, it's fire wand is extremely cool. Maybe I'm a bit biased as Delphox was my first starter Pokemon but I just think that it gets too much hate and should get some more love. (I'm also really mad at how much GF promoted Greninja and left poor Delphox in the dust)

I would agree with this list. The big problem with Johto (as much as I LOVE the games and a lot of the pokemon) is that there just aren't many great ones and a lot of them are (pre-)evolutions from Kanto. Kanto, equally, relies a lot on the pokemon being 'cult' and/or nostalgic, whilst a lot of the pokemon are awesome (starters, mew/mewtwo, lapras) they just have some of the worst in my opinion as well (jynx, mr mime and then lazy designs like muk/grimer, ekans etc.). Kalos, I find, has a lot of 'meh' pokemon, with a few good and bad, unlike Uneva which is almost completely 50/50 in awesome and terrible. I think Alola and Galar have some of the greatest additions and a lot of the pokemon have quickly become favourites. Considering the Johto games are still my favourites after all these years (SoulSilver particularly), there just isn't much variety in the new pokemon.

Don't get me wrong, I like venusaur and blastoise, but the designs of the starters aren't that great, charizard is just a common dragon, blastoise grew cannons for non apparent reason and removed the "wings" in its head as well, meanwhile venusaur is the one that is slightly better, because the flower grew together with the "animal" part, it is somewhat creative and was well executed, however there are waay too many grass type pokémon that has a similar idea in evolution line.

I love sinnoh big part of my childhood and I’m still deciding if I like it or unova more. The only issue sinnoh has is if you can’t trade you lose a lot of Pokémon to use.

Phew, I was nervous when I saw Alola take number 1 for flying types but thankfully Alola came out alright. I'm happy to see Galar's ranking too, but in the normal type category I think Indeedee is liked by fans a teensy bit more than you mentioned. Ofcourse Greedunt is the weak link regardless so I doubt the ranking would be any different. It was surprising seeing how low Kalos ended up ranking but I suppose it DOES have a small dex. Still, it was surprising

Cormorant Colors Here's my take on it. Fennekin starts out as a quadruped. Cool, accurate to the animal. Braixen is a biped, looks human, and is the size of one. Strange, but okay. Delphox looks like someone about to rob you. With the rags, human like features, and ear hair, it's just a weird design choice. Everyone bashes Samurott for having four legs when it's pre evolutions didn't and Serperior for having none, but they at least look cool and animal-like and not like a furry pretending to be an animal. I don't know if anyone else thought this way, but I do. It isn't my least favorite starter, (I don't see why everyone likes Emboar and Meganium is just bad) but the design choice is so weird, especially in comparison to the pre-evolutions. The Psychic type at least fits for it.

My least favorite water type is mantyke since it's annoying to catch in Sword and Shield. I gave up catching it and breeded a mantine but the egg hatched into a mantine!!!!! So I went to the lake of outrage got in a fight with a mantyke and used a masterball on it. :(

JefftheSqueackerChicken I respect your opinion, but I think that's more a game design problem than a Pokemon problem. The catch rates shouldn't have been nerfed so much in Generation 8, and a lot of the Pokeballs are more trash than they should be (the only good ones are the Quick, Timer, Repeat, and Dusk Balls) (Also you're supposed to breed with a Sea Incense because Sinnoh to get Mantyke.)

Sinnoh may be the region with the least Fire types, but the few that they have are pretty solid. The Fire types in Kalos are all Pokémon I think are pretty cool too. Personally, I'd put Alola as the worst for Fire, because aside from Alolan Marowak, there aren't many fully evolved Fire types in Alola that I think are amazing. Plus Incineroar brings it down by a lot, because it's my least favorite fully evolved Starter Pokémon.

I would replace Kanto for Johto in the grass type section Johto may have beloved grass types like Celebi and the Meganium evolution line but they also have Pokemon like the Sunflora and the Hoppip line which are most forgetable

Ironically I used all 3 poison types you mention in Hoenn playthroughs but used Dustox in a monotype with Beautifly, Shedninja, Ninjask, Heracross and Armaldo. All pokemon can be used with the right can do well in a monotype.
