Which sanitizer should you use for HOMEBREW

Iodophor works really well on stainless equipment. I spray my unitank down with BTF before starting my brew day, and then spray Star San right before transfer, as you mentioned. That method works well for me. Good vid

I use my iodine solution in my utility tub which allows me to sanitize my equipment and the stain is in the same tub that I clean my paint brushes and other larger items…what little stain appears on my food grade buckets is not a problem. Thanks for the video! Great job!

Have you ever tried Sani Brew / Diversol? It is a pink powder (Chlorinated). It is what they had at my local home brew shop and requires to rinse the bottle with warm water to remove chlorine smell.

Ive reused star san in distilled water , also i use 1 gallon of star san to 6 mls and shake my carboy up

You are always supposed to add acid to water not the other way around... Not that that’s the reason Star-San foams but it does solve the foaming issue if you add it after the water and mix it generally...

No, just drain and you'll be good for secondary or bottle. I soak my bottles then drain and the yeast still creates carbonation.
