We live in a timeline where pro players think Joker and Min Min take the same mental capacity to play.

It's probably because their points of view may take into account aspects that are not common for all players. Min Min requires intensive thinking? No, but at top level she requires patience, sharp timing and good spacing to not instantly lose against the more aggressive rushdown characters. Joker requires intensive thinking? Probably not that much. He is combo heavy, but combos just become muscle memory after some time and hardly require much active thinking. You have to keep track of Arsene as to not be put in a bad spot offstage, but managing him is not a very strenuous task either, and other than that he does not have any other 'moving parts' that require constant attention. He does require more mental capacity than Min-min, just not enough to be on a different tier. Going along the same logic, it really wouldn't be fair to put Joker in the same 'Mental Capacity' tier as Hero, who has over a dozen spells that can only be useful in particular situations, as well as Three variation for both Side B, Up B and Neutral B. Nor would it be all that fitting for him to be in the same tier as the Belmonts, who, even at top level, are very avid users of the B Button Flowchart.

Steve is huge brain. His blocks let you do all kinds of stuff, plus you need to manage resources, plus his minecart can pick up enemies, plus you can set up ledge traps, plus he deals different damage when using different materials.

Ok first of all, you have to mine a ton of iron to really spam minecart, also you need gold otherwise the x or y button makes it garbage. You need to mine at galaxy brain times to get it. One thing that is underestimated is how hard mining optimally is. You have to win neutral, get like 4 items, then you are back with your opponent able to hit you if you mine.

Thanks to marss for putting respect for Joker. He’s very hard to play. Solo Joker requires very competent playing to succeed. Even with Arsene, you only have a short time limit to use it. You have to play *even better* than you usually do to circumvent players camping the arsene timer. Very few of Joker’s moves have priority. You have to outsmart the opponent to win.
